Good draft Buzz article here from NBAdraft.net. Apparently Taft, Sean may, BJ Elder and Daniel Ewing played some 2 on 2 and Taft outplayed May in all facets of the game. Considering Taft's recent slide, what does that say about May? Or is Taft starting to turn it up now?
Apparently Splitter is having a tough time getting the buyout and might pull out, even though he's been playing very well lately.
Also note that Travis Diener is starting to turn heads. He'd be a GREAT picks at 53 if available, but now I'm starting to think he won't be there. Maybe Basden will slip to that pick...he's the best perimeter defender in the draft.

I think his agent printed out all the bad press he has been getting and Taft has responded.
Taft is good, man there is no question. I dunno what the problem is in these workouts. You gotta learn not to believe everything you read. I still can't understand why anyone would pass on his talent.....unless he really does have this Tim Thomas complex.
I want Charlie Villenueva anyway.

Its not just the workouts....Taft had a very uninspring year in college ball as well. There is alot of questions about how good Taft is.

I think the real question is does Taft want to be good. Theres no doubt he has some of the best raw basketball skills in this draft but the questions remains, does Chris Taft WANT to be an all-star player. I was/am a huge Taft supporter, I think pretty soon he's going to realize his act is stupid and he's going to get it together, for a long time I wanted him at 8 but with the emergence of Bynum, I'd rather take him at 8. If Bynum is gone at 8 and Taft is available, I have no problem taking him there.
