now he was 35 pounds overweight due to an injury, but hsi sheer massive size in terms of height/length and frame shows quite well here as 6-7 235 pound John Brockman tries to get up to get the rebound over the massive bynum. Were talking a massive, massive human being and only 17

I want to roll the dice here . I dont care about BPA. Sometimes you roll the F dice a little, and everything adds up here. this is not fredrick weiss, this is a hard working intelligent skilled monster who is still a boy. watch what they would do with him at uconn-he would be pick 1 in two years

pick 8 from pick 1 is miles upon miles away. if something didnt workout, well, you gave it a great shot, you tried to do the right thing. If it works out, you have a 20-10 -3 anchor player for 12-15 years.

Briggs if he does well at the workouts he'll be #1 THIS year.

If the KNicks get Bynum, Petro or Frye Marbury better learn to throw the lob pass. Because anyone of these guys can get up and go get it and bring it down hard.

I am all about Bynum man - we need a big in the worst way. Dont get me wrong, a star SG would be sweet - but I guess ebing a fan of old school knicks also makes me a fan og the big man who can ball. The Knicks need one in the worst way - and if this kid has that kind of potential and he is available at #8 I would be extremely happy if they took him.

They better play him though if he is drafted, none of this sitting on the bench BS.

I hope you dont have expectations of this kid to come in and play 30 minutes! This would be a project, perhaps spotting him in certain situations in year 1, but fiercely going over skills strength conditioning and practice against pros for long term success. I could see Andrew is a bigger role in year 2 and starting in year 3. Remember he is 17. I think with a full year in, he could give a nice 20 minutes back up and into year 3 35 at the starting spot. But year 1 would be spotty, he should definitely play, but situational--more for practice this year, body strength and skills

I see no reason why they can't let him go right off the bat like Howard. Its good for the future to throw him into the mix and get him as many minutes as possible. The last thing anyone needs is to do the NYK approch to getting a player in the starting lineup you would have to wait a good 5 years for him to get in the starting lineup reguardless of how good he is. Sweetney took 2 years to get a start and he went to college he still isn't getting the type of minutes a starter should get. Thats why no one should really get all hyped up about this draft business in NY. The Knicks can kill a career before it starts and all those draftees that are projected around 8, 30 and even 54 have their fingers crossed that they won't land on the KNicks. This may be sad but it really the truth about an oragnization whose only claim to fame is Ewing, Mark Jackson and Strickland and they were drafted in the 80's. over the last 20+ years.
