He's supposedly a free agaent according to NBADraft.net.

He was killing the USA team in the Olympics.Anybody think he will produce as a NBA player?

He is definately a cold blooded player.

yes, but an average athlete. Great shooter but he' no Ginobli. I would rather take a shot at Charlie Bell if we are looking for a backup PG

I think Rudy Fernandez is being severely overlooked as a possible pick if we go big with 8 and pick up another mid 1st round pick. The kid can fly! This guy is Ginobili with much more athletism and a better shooter.

And Gelabale with the 54th pick.

We already heard how good he is defensively and that Isiah liked him. I can see him having a richard jefferson like career. His shot may struggle at first but he's a dunking machine! definitely a possibility with one of the later picks. It would be great if he somehow dropped to #54

I think the NBA is basing too much of their talent evaluations on athleticism alone. If anyone saw the olympics then they would know that this guy can shoot the ball lights out and has a ferocious attitude out on the court, I think he's worth signing and see how he does in summer league against other NBA talent.

Question is, would this guy want to come over and be a backup to someone and would someone want him to start? He's the top dog in Europe and could probably make more money there....why pass up that for less money and a smaller role here?

Interview with Jasikevicius in HoopsHype

http://www.hoopshype.com/interviews/jasikevicius_sierra.htm

You dominated Stephon Marbury in Athens. Do you see yourself at the same level of Marbury and other NBA stars?

SJ: No, I don't see myself at the same level. They may have not played great, but they still got a medal. It doesn't matter what happened, you still have to recognize they are the best.

You've complained that you didn't get any good offer from the NBA yet. What would you consider to be a reasonable offer?

SJ: Just an offer that I like.

What would be the key – playing time, money, the length of the contract...?

SJ: A little bit of everything. You have to pay attention to all those things. But playing time? How are they going to guarantee any playing time to me? You have to go there, show what you can do and earn the playing time.
