I thought a ton of fouls on Phoenix didn't get called at the end of that game.

The suns are just prolonging the inevetable... All this win does is just prolong the departure for most of the suns players and their families cruises....

I'm confused about Amare's block on Duncan....shouldn't it have been a goal tend? The ball was going down, Amare practically had his hand in the cylinder to make the play...looked like a goal tend to me. But Amare did step on defense and he got that last offensive rebound which was huge. I have a feeling the Suns win game 5. Too bad Joe Johnson was out for 1&2 or this could've been a series...

I think it goes like this - if the ball is still in Duncan's hand, then it can't be goaltending. And Amare's hand stoped the ball before it crossed the cylinder. Unreal play!

I thought it was a goaltend also, duncan was comming down with the ball and amare's hand was right in the cylinder... I mean if that is allowed then 6'0 guards can block a centers shot, all he has to do is get to the rim and wait for him to come down on the dunk.....

Amare is a hell of a player, but the refs did a terrible job last night....The league probably has asked them to let Phoenix win a game....I will tell you one thing, that will fuel Tim Duncan even more...

You think Phoenix is getting away with calls?

I think their motion offense is being ground to a halt by a San Antonio team that is not getting fouls called on them.

Good defensive teams like Detroit and San Antonio have a bad rep, because most fans want to see the layups, accrobatic moves, etc. However, San Antonio is amongst the cleanest defensive teams in the league...

If anyone didn't see that coming welcome to NBA playoff basketball. Where sweeps is a dirty word for both commissioner, Disney, and all their sponsors. By hook and crook you had to expect that any calls would have to go the Suns way.

Amare got off lucky too. You can break a finger or your wrist on that type of play. It was an awesome play and thankfully he didn't get injured.

You can get hurt doing anything in basketball. It's a contact sport. That should be irrelevant, for that very reason. It was a great play and something that needed to be done. If you told Amare not to do that again b/c he could have gotton hurt, he would have done it again if the opportunity came.

I agree but certain plays are obviously much more risky than others.

I never said he shouldn't have made that block. I just said he was lucky he didn't get hurt.
