Kind of takes a dig at the knicks [without mentioing them] I dont think he considers the knicks a strong organization

Layden is a joke, if there was ever a GM who was in over his head it was him. The other NBA Gm's were sad to see him fired as they loved dumping their trash players on the Knicks.

as the years go by, I blame Layden less and Dolan more and more. Layden wasn't calling the shots, you think he wanted to fine Spree and suspend him and trade him. naw. You think Layden wanted to play all our starters and finish 10-10 when we were 20-42 in 2002? naw. I think Layden MIGHT have wanted to tank for Yao, but nope, Dolan likes to provide a competive atmosphere.
