that is the word, it is reiterated by draftcity, they dont even beleieve he should be in the lottery selection--more towards the middle picks 14-20

Joey Graham has been a very impressive workout player

Granger and Warrick not performing well in workouts

Hodges continues to rise

looks like the draft is 5-6 deep than the players who could go 6-36 could almost be flipped.

Bynum works out on the 4th in front of 100+ scouts ESPN insider nBA draft, Draft city will all be there.

There is a post fom Andrew Bynum on the rivals board under the alias atrainatjoes,at it seems as if even if he is not lottery, hes going to the nBA, so hes in.

The prognosis on his draft status range remains middle lottery to late first round, or something like 7-30--he has the widest range, he has a lot to gain or lose coming up next week.

Martynas is still in this draft, will be in Chicago, have no idea whether he will workout for anyone yet. Could reinvigorate his status which has dropped to mid 20s

Splitter still may pull out next week

Louis Williams, Monta Ellis Eddie Badsen David Lee rising in draft
RIP Crushalot😞

Things are really screwed up. Just when i was growing to Ganger he's now doing poorly. Warrick is still someone i want, but if he's not doing well we won't take him with the 8th pick. Same with Taft. It seems at this point Villaneuva is one of our best options. He's doing well in workouts and doing it consistently. I have no idea what route to go with the other picks. Maybe Morris with the 30th if he's there to get a nice center prospect. Hodge is also a possibility seeing how there's no chance he drops to 54 now. Hopefully things will start to shape up soon.

Who cares about workouts? I mean, to an extent they matter but I'd take a guy who played well for 3-4 years in college over some clown who hits all his jumpers in workouts but doesn't get any time for his European team.

Workouts should definitely be considered when drafting a player, but I don't think it should be the be all/end all to whether the Knicks should take a guy or not.

Agreed. This is the exact reason why you cant be tricked by Charlie Villanueva. You should know full well that Charlie is going to come in and rip up workouts becuase HE HAS that kind of talent but how often was it seen at UConn? I can't remember him playing really well other then this years Big East Tourney and NCAA Tourney run, he would show flashes but he never did so for a sustained period of time. It just looked like he didnt care and if Calhoun can't it out of you then I can't imagine many NBA coaches who would be able too. If you put Tim Thomas in some of these workouts against other NBA players Tim would probably be in the upper-echeclon of talent but we all know what Tim Thomas really is. Sure these workouts mean something, but not everything.

I've seen the opposite of Granger. From what I can tell, his stock is holding steady in the late lottery and they haven't been able to expose any weaknesses in his game in the workouts...

I've said for a while I think Hodge would be the perfect 3rd guard for the Knicks, he seems to complement the games of Crawford and Marbury. Hodge and Louisville's Garcia I'd take at 30.

That being said, I don't think Hodge will be there at 30. I wish the Knicks could do something to get into the teens of this draft, I think there will be a lot of talent there.

I sure appreciate your posts, Briggs.
However, it's still 4 weeks from the draft and alot is gonna happen before then. We should just sit back and make our reviews two or three DAYS before the draft. Until then, this flip-floppin' is nuts.
That being said, I'm still large on Granger and think that he is the best option at #8. I think that he has the makeup to be a great pro for the long haul.
We will NEVER win with Marbury as our cameo guy.

not true. Bynum does well and he's going before 8. I want him to struggle in workouts and then have Isiah have the balls to take him anyway...

yeah its a double edge sword i guess. But if he does well but is clearly raw he might slip to us at 8. Godwillingly!
