Charlie Bell. He would come over (he has said this) if he got a guarenteed deal. He's playing for about $700-$800k which is good money over there. You KNOW he would love to bring his family back here and would jump at a VERY modest (for us) 3 year $3mm deal. Heck... even the 2 year LLE contract might do it, but I think he's worth the 3 years.

He's 26. Was a GREAT college player, and has built his rep in Europe for tough hard nosed defensive play as well as being one of Europe's most prolific scorers. Signing a guy like this would even further enable us to use the draft to build a pipeline.

I think everyone on this site would like to take a chance on Charlie Bell.

He's shown great speed and quickness. He definately has a little Allen Iverson in him. There is no way a team is gonna allow him to come over and just be a scorer. He'd be looking at the low-level exemption playing back up point. He failed to be able to do that his first time around.

Tyus Edney is another one of those guys that never could make it in the NBA but become stars in Europe.

Did you check out Lou Roe's highlights? He was a straight up bum in the NBA. Maybe he's in shape now but what is he a power forward in Europe? No way does that translate in the NBA. Can he shoot yet?

Pat Burke is another regular player that looks like Shaq in those highlights.

Thats the thing about this picks, especially for the bigs, the competition is so low, that its hard to judge what these guys can really do.

I am just glad, we came such a long way from the old days when those European clips were like something out of the Zapruder film.

Yes, he was the best player here this year. He led the league in ppg, although he was playing in a very bad team. Definately, we will miss his great performances. I really like when he goes crazy and start scoring and dishing assists in consecutive plays. The guy really has heart, HE was the team.
