who knows problably another flawed player like Mo Taylor only at the guard position instead.

Hopefully we can get Kwame or Hunter at least or with a miracle trade for Nene

Antonio Daniels would be great here in three guard rotation. Perfect fit. Hunter would be great.. but why exactly would he sign with NY.. when he can get more money.. or the same money and play on a contender?

I can also see Wally's World on the Knicks next year if we don't address the gaping hole at SG through the draft. Maybe Jalen Rose if they'll throw in the 16th pick to dump him.

In the future I definitely want to use the MLE on Nene & Piertus!

Zydrunas Ilgauskus. He is a high-profile Center that is an unrestricted free agent. He is the only FA I see coming to the Knicks.

C-Ilgauskus
PF-Fran Vazquez (8th Pick in the draft)
SF-TT (Contract year)
SG-Houston (Wishful thinking)
PG-Marbury

I don't want Penny or TT traded. I want their contracts to expire. I would like to trade 2 of the 4 PFs we have.

oh crap how can I forget about Illgaukus! he's my #1 offseason priority!

a frontline of Z and Taft would cover all the bases. or if Bynum is available you can take him and growm him behind Z. KT would be gone, thats important

I think it's going to be Zydrunas or Kwame. Both have worn their welcome out and are big and available. I imagine Kurt and a pick would be going in either case, or the outside chance Zydrunas just comes to NYC for the MLE - he has said he doesn't need anymore money, wants to be happy, GF lives in New York, family in NY, buying a house this summer in NY, when the Cavs were clearing out their lockers for the year, he was wearing a Yanks hat...

I like Zydrunas but he is slow as hell, Same with a Jerome James. Thats why I like Stro or Hunter. I think Stro was pulling a Vince Carter in Memphis because he is the only player that was from the original Vancouver team still there. He's just dying for new scenery. And then watch his production...

pretty much everyone on the realgm WAS Wizards board hates Kwame and keeps hoping they can get Kurt for him. They COVET Kurt. I like Kurt, and don't trust Kwame, but I see this as a move Zeke would make. And Ernie Grunfeld LOVES Kurt, signed him here.

Hey Cookdcokehop....I usually agree with a lot of what you say, but that is one stupid, lazy front line. Those are the type of players I want to get away from. The check collectors. The guys who will always be heavy on potential & light on production. The guys who we'll always say "imagine if the light bulb came on".

thats funny a few months ago when I was in the ESPN Wizrds boards they were laughing at us offering old man Kurt for Kwame. But maybe after Kwame returned and looked so bad and then quit the want to get rid of him as much as we want to get rid of TT

I think Big Z will be our center, and we'll still be mediocre. He can block shots, but he doesn't intimidate. All teams have to do is make him work on defense on the perimeter, b/c he's as slow footed as they get. It's like having a really OLD Deke (The one still playing now) for 35 minutes a game. Not good.

except Deke still contributes and Z is a million times better offensively other than that....lol

With Taft or Blatche at PF assuming Bynum goes in the top 7 we would have all the bases covered in the frontcourt. That would be a massive playoff calibur frontcourt! especially if Taft develops offensively, right now we know he can defend, rebound and block shots.

Do you think we can Get Kwame for Kurt straight up? Cuz i dont want to give up a draft pick for a player that is not worth it

And about Stromile I was basing my decision of his athleticism, I think we can be a more uptempo team with him. And on defense he's known for swatting the ball into the crowd, but maybe its just me but i think he's an upgrade

Another reason I dont want Big Z is because we will be back to that pick and roll offense. Z is a jump shooter

no unlike Kurt, Z scores inside with a variety of post moves. He's not Shaq, Duncan, KG, J'neal inside but he plenty good! And if Taft developes into a beast inside that would be one hell of a frontcourt! and remember Z is still only 29 and has been healthy the past 4 seasons. some people make it sound like he's 36 or 40 like Mutombo!
