Holla at me Isiah,,,,,do whatever you can to get those two picks...Give them whatever they want minus Marb,Ariza, and Crawf...Would they take expiring contracts for those picks???? What about a Penny trade???? Hey! we don't want Peny anyway, why not give him up for a chance at drafting 5th and 13th...? Here is our chance at building a power house for a long time...

read the article... they are trying to move UP to grab a guy that they can build the franchise around. I'm pretty sure they dont want to build the franchise around anyone on our roster.

The best thing we could do would to offer them a lot of cash for their 2nd rounder or something like that.

dude, did you even read the article?
If I looked at you and told you it was not disappointing, I would be disingenuous," Charlotte's coach and general manager said Wednesday. "But we will make the best out of it."

That means putting the word out that Charlotte is willing to package its two lottery picks together to move up in the June 28 draft.

The Grizz are also willing to deal.....Kurt for Bonzi and their first round pick is a good deal in my book...At this point, I just want a couple of extra picks...With Bonzi, our SG position would have been set, and we would have one less problem at PF or Center....Fratello loves Kurt anyway, why not do this deal....Isiah, please, please recognize that Kurt's time as a Knicks is over....Please.

What about the Jazz or even Portland???? All that trade talk is making me sick....That is why it would have been nice to get a much higher pick....

This draft is known to be a deep draft with no superstars. Teams are going to be less likely to deal away any picks this year. The Knicks are unlikely to acquire anymore picks, if anything, Thomas may package the 8th and 30th to move up a few spots but even that is unkiley to happen. I admire your enthusiasm but reality says it's not going to happen.

Marbury, Ariza for their two picks, why not do the deal? Since we are so excited about this draft and the Knicks clearly suck, I would do that deal in a heartbeat, then trade Kurt for Bonzi and the 19.... 5,8,13,19,30......

Step one Draft Deron Williams, Step two take Danny Granger, Step three take Antoine Wright, take Blacte at 19, then get Byrum at 30 if he is still there....

Deron Williams/Jamal Crawford
Bonzi Wells/Antoine Wright
Danny Granger/Tim Thomas
Sweetney/Blacte
Rose/Byrum

If they wanted Sweetney on the bobcats i would even give him up, this team is going no where time to start over...

if you guys want to dance around Bynum by picking other guys and hoping he drops to 30 you're setting yourselves up for HUGE disappointment! All it takes is one good workout with a team, which he already had and he'll be a sure fire lottery pick to mid 1st round pick at his size and skills.

If we miraculously picked up 5 picks I would draft:
Green
Felton
Bynum
Blatche
Morris

Marbury's better than all those guys...why make a trade like that? you don't trade a player like Marbury unless you're getting back proven star calibre talent, or a top 3 pick at the very least.

That's beyond miraculous. Just like the odds were against the Knicks moving up in draft positions, I see it very unlikely the Knicks end up with anymore picks then they currently have.

Even with 5 picks you guys are still dumb about who and what need to address....in this league, you have to have two main pieces to be on the right track: PG and Center...With those two, you can always find pieces that will fit to make the puzzle work...Right now we have nothing but a bunch of PFs, and even if we were to trade Marb and others, we would still be lottery team for years........With what we have, it is much easier to build. We already have Marburry and a decent young group, so all we need a decent big man to block shot and anchor our defense....Take the easy way out...forget about overpaying or underdrafting we need bigs so draft big boys taller than 6'9"""

diderton you are the guy who asked for charlottes picks without giving up craw, marbury, and ariza, you seem pretty ****ing dumb to me...

This team is terrible has no defensive intensity, and we would be working our way under the cap and developing young talent...instead of just missing the playoffs every year.....the 5 picks is far fetched but you are developing big talent and bring in a good defensive minded tough as nails point guard.....

Their is such a thing as free agency in 2007.....Granger is going to be a great small foward and is play and guard multiple positions, Williams can guard both guard spots, you also can package sweetney and crawford down the road......who cares if we are terrible but are making progress....its better than seliing this team a false bill of goods....and two guys that are 7 feet thats not height

Dude,,,,,you are dumb for suggesting a trade of a markee player like Marburry while we don't even have a guy that we can use to attract the crowd. Rule #1 of marketing is this: it doesn't matter how good or great something is, you just have to put a pretty picture to it to attract consumers...In this case, we have Marburry who is a freaking star in this league and a homeboy. With him, regardless of how bad the Knicks are, they will still attract the crowd, which in return will provide revenue to pay for all of the overhead costs....Wake up my friend....

LA is not even considering a trade of Kobe, nor is Minnesota with Garnet. Do you know why? because Kobe and Garnett pay the bills

could've sworn this was about winning a championship. not covering overhead costs. but you might be right with since this is Dolan and the Knicks!

Marketability well someone named Lebron James is going to be a free agent pretty soon, and I would bet he could attract bigger crowds, as will be Melo...

So nice winning isn't important and its just about marketing why not bring every overpriced underachiever here and not mover foward.....yeah that plan isn't really working.....

You have assets to trade and a future instead of the worst clutch point guard in the league, not playing d, missing free throws, clanking big shots, throwing the ball to the wrong people.....

Hey put those Steeeeeeepppppppppppppphoooooooon Maaaaarrrrrrrrrrrbury's meaningless puckets appease the crowd

Building a championship takes time...you have to be patient and you have to spend wisely, which is something that N.Y. fans and Dolan don't know much about. You can still make money while collecting pieces. Isiah has the right idea, but I don't know if his surrounding believe in his him...His approach is the perfect approach, especially given the bad cap situation that he has inherrited. he didn't incur any bad contracts that is longer than Houston's, that to me is smart thinking....TT, Penny, Houston, Mo. T will all expire next season...
