On the draft show Chris Taft was ranked the 18th best player in the draft. With our #8 pick, Isiah is going to get the best available and right now that isnt Taft. I think they ranked Francisco Garcia ahead of him

or

1. Milwaukee - Bogut
2. Atlanta - Paul
3. Portland - Marvin
4. New Orleans - Taft
5. Charlotte - Green
6. Utah - Felton
7. Toronto - Webster
8. New York - Bynum

or Toronto could take Deron and we'll have to choose between Bynum or Webster.

and New Orleans can take Splitter over Taft and Taft goes to Golden State or the Lakers

or Charlotte can take Felton and Utah takes Deron and Toronto gets Green! Can't believe we won that last game versus the Wizards!

I think Bynum is still gonna be there later in the draft (unless the lakers really want him). Bynum isnt the best available at that point. But if Isiah wants to get the media out his hair and draft a big guy with alot of Upside with our first pick, I cant get mad at that

not only do they have Josh Smith they have Al Harrington. If they draft Marvin where does he get minutes. I know their not gonna have their #2 lottery pick come off the bench

my thinking Briggs besides the fact that they have Big Al is that you can really use a franchise PG like Paul running a team with smith and Childress. Whereas Marvin wouldn't have the PG to get him the ball. I think if you're building a team it is wiser to start with a Center or PG otherwise you will be the next Vancouver Grizzles with Rahim and lose 60 games a year.

they also have Josh Childress who's a swing man too.

The Hawks are a mortal lock to take Chris Paul.

Does this mean we can sign the Milwaukee Bucks center Gadzuric. Im not in fond of this guy but its not like we have a huge list of centers to choose from.

I'd have to agree, they need a pg badly. Marvin Williams isn't gonna make them better like Chris Paul can. They have their athletic studs already they need a skilled PG.

Yes, signing Gadzuric is an interesting option now....
We will NEVER win with Marbury as our cameo guy.

Iwas thinking the same thing. They may want Kurt to play with bogut.

My top 12 would go like this:

1) Mil - Bogut (years from now, people will forget there was ever a question if he should be no. 1 or not)
2) Atl - Paul (too many swingmen to add Marvin, Paul is local too)
3) Por - Green (they may swap with New Orleans aka NO trades up to take Marvin here)
4) NO - Marvin
5) Charlotte - Raymond Felton (BPA, local guy, Deron is overrated)
6) Utah - Deron (they'll like Deron)
7) Toronto - Martynas (a steal or....????)
8) NYK - Taft (wahoo, it's the second coming of Eddy Curry or was it Chris Wilcox?)
9) GSW - Frye (nice pick)
10) LAL - Fran Vasquez (hey, how is everyone getting better bigs than us?)
11) ORL - Webster (undoes some of the Doug Christie damage)
12) LAC - Warrick (trying to become PHOx2)

maybe I can become a Clips fan...

I hope Eddy Curry and Jamal Crawford are pulling a prank about his heart so he can sign with the knicks, because taft pick is not looking so good

Isiah Thomas does love heartless pussies from the area (Stephon Marbury, Tim Thomas). Chris Taft and his lazy game will fit perfectly with this disgraceful roster.

i really thought going into this draft that it was a

1A
B draft
i.e Bogut M Willimas

just because the Hwaks might need a PG, doesnt mean they wont take the BPA, in fact I think it would be stupidd if they did. Marvins updie is higher than Paul.

I think they take Williams and use him as sicth man OR move Harrington for a PG.
