Marburry has been in the league for 8 years and next season will definitely be the year of change for him. He will have a partner that will be with him for a while and that partner will go to battles with him and hopefully reach the playoffs and advance beyound the first round.......

Nope, #8 isn't bad, but I gotta tell you, I'm a little disappointed after your #2 or #3 guarantee.

At his advance age, these are the type of guys that will keep Shaq in the league for awhile. His assprints are all over this pick.

Well, I'm depressed anytime I look at our roster, and that #8 doesn't help at all.

Man I hope you guys get over the depression; I'm psyched to be going into the draft with 8 and 30 and I'm a whole lot more optimistic than if we had held on to Nazr and traded the 8 for God knows what.

Mon ami! I feel your pain. I am as depressed believe it or not. Everytime I look at our front court, I ask myself if this is truly a professional squad. I am sick and tired of what we look upfront. It has been like that for at least 5 years. When we had Deke, we were at least hopeful. We had a guy we knew that opponents somewhat feared, but not anymore. Let Kurt walk for cheap...Trade him for nothing. As far as I am concerned, we can do without him...

I agree. KT is a good enough player to make someone give up a draft pick. KT is one of those last pieces to a championship contender.

Still getting Taft at #8 and signing Gadzuric sounds awesome to me. I would not be mad at that. He will definately find a keeper at #30 and who knows what that second rounder would bring.

It would be sweet if Isiah could get a 3rd first rounder.

8th pick we selected a 6'10" PF/Center and now we have been chosen by Brown as his 8th coaching stop....Woww,,,,,good prediction so far. I predict that we will win the championship in 2 years or by next season....

More likely we'll win a championship in 8 years or perhaps 8 years after brown leaves or 8 years after dolan is finally gone from the picture or perhaps 8 years after the next century, as in 2108!
