...why don't we get a look into whats going on in his mind right now. This is his personal website, not b-ball related. This is who we are hanging the hopes of our franchise on. This is hilarious, this guy is only 17, he's a baby.

oh that's too funny - you got his myspace page. my kids and their friends are all over that site.

Andrew's stuff is definitely funny - he's a typical teenager, except that he's about to be a multi-millionaire!!

At least he says he's not into drinking!

for some reason, this reminds me of the seinfeld episode at the film store where that big black guy thought george had a crush on him and left him a big portrait of himself.

hes 17 years old, and obviously needs to get la**

i said from the start that this kid has been manipulated by his brother to go through this process instead of going to uconn. thats to bad, because I dont consider that solid family support. But to stay in perspective, hes in the process and am looking forward to see what he does june 4th.

The dude is supposed to be a baskebtall player, and a center at that. Have you ever listened to Bill Walton talk? You think Ewing was a genious?

Cmon this kid is 17 and he is huge, its impressive he can actually into technology and can make something resembling a webstie lol.

This shows he comes from a solid background, he clearly does not have any serious problems, he is 17 and he likes girls. Big fing deal. Somebody should tell me that any girl that seas this website will never touch him, but that aside, its not exactly uncommon.

He tells you he is not into drinking and smokin, you should be extatic about that. He wants a family which shows he has good values, so whats so bad about that.

Sure he sounds somewhat dumb, but remember the fact that he is is going to be a pro ball center, not your kid science teacher.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

I'm not worried about what a 17 year old kid puts on his website, as long as he isnt shouting at the devil or something. Who cares? A kid is a kid, and he is still in HS TODAY, right now! That is why he couldnt have any workouts before June 4th.

Danny Ainge said something I agree with whole heartedly last year when talking about Al Jefferson. He believed the value of drafting Al was great because he felt that if Al went to school for 2-3 years, he would've been a top 3 pick. Same thing here. What we are playing for is value. Will 7-1 275 pound Andrew Bynum become a top 3 pick in the next 2-3 years at Uconn? My answer--yes.


I mean there has been very clear cut cases of HS kids being picked late who exploded to the head of their drafting class--last year for example Josh Smith JR Smith--going back in time Jermaine Oneal, Rashard Lewis, heck even kobe 13, KG et al.

This is the trend. Some smart teams have valued this trend and have made out like bandits. Anyone like to give pick 8 for Josh Smith tomorrow?

So the kid has a goofy website, does that take away from the fact that he looks like he is in awesome shape or that he is 7-1 275 with a great touch?
David Stern is right, no one can doubt that, these kids need to grow up at school for a 2 year period for the most part. But thats not the case yet, and as a Knick fan, am open -minded and looking for the bEST value.

Dude, first off, I guarantee he doesn't actually talk like that. He's just being a typical 17 year old. I am sure you played some stupid games too, like he is now, at 17. In fact, I myself have a myspace profile, and I'm 23.

Also, if anything, he seems like he's a pretty smart kid, if he's staying away from smoking AND drinking. Not so bad, don't you think? And he apparently actually likes school as well, and according to Briggs, has a high GPA. And like simrud said, he may not be a science professer, but who cares (Even though he says he likes science). So what's there not to like about drafting the kid?

It seems like it. Andrew Bynum isn't exactly well known besides from us and a bunch of bball scouts, so, it probably could be his, but who cares anyway. He denied my friend request lol.

thats not bad, now if he said Im going to visit another conutry called Alaska, then I would say go back to georgraphy 101. continents and countries are sometimes miscued
