Channing Frye listed as a 7 footer & being selected by Toronto at 7.

Excellent small forward prospects Warrick, Granger & Graham going 18,19 & 20.

Byrum at 22.

Strange!

Frye has tremendous potential to develop into a Tyson Chandler type with better scoring. I see him going 10-12 when it's all said and done, and I hope we don't regret passing on him.

Remember, though, Zeke did invite him to summer league last year and Frye turned him down to retain his school eligibility.

I hope he goes in the top 7 so that a superstar falls on our lap!

Yeah and it's also apparent that he measured taller than his listed height. A lot depends on that these days. Players like Warrick and Granger will depend on how tall and lengthy they really are and will be potential lottery picks because of it or fall into the late teens to 20s because they aren't.

Well shiyt, we should be getting him then. Couldn't we use a taller Tyson Chandler with a better offensive game? I'd say thats exactly what we need. Thats why we want Dalembert so bad and he and Tyson Chand;er are about tied on offensive skills.

this draft has a ton of solid role players and future starters... not many franchise players immediately, but that's because none are really fully developed in college.

Tyson Chandler is an aggressive rebounder. Channing Frye is a pure finesse guy with a game like Curtis Borchardt (not a good thing).

ive seen Frye and I am inclined to agree. One thing to consider is CBB is so system oriented sometimes guys, especially bigs just fill out their role and thats good enough. Frye is a pretty good athlete, I think its very feasible that he can do somethings he wasnt able to show in school. If he could be a Magloire type center he would definatly we worthy of a lottery pick.

This smurf team needs a C. So I'd be happy if they took Frye. I'd pefer Taft though, since his upside is bigger. Working with Aguirre and Glymph and being pumped up playing for his hometown team might be what it takes for him to get his act together.

Taft has Robert Traylor, Mo Taylor, Chris Wilcox written all over him. I don't want anybody at 8 who "needs to get his act together".
