again, based on career and post season performances, who had a better career.
skills-wise, drexler was the better overall talent b/c he could score in a variety of ways and play some defense. but reggie, although one dimensional, was mr. playoffs.
i go with drexler over reggie since he made it to 3 finals i believe (portland twice, houston once), with two times being HIS team.

he was a heck of a player I got to agree. I believe right after Jordan he was the best SG for a very long time

I love Reggie. Players with incomplete skills should study Reggie's game. He managed to figure out a way to put together a Hall of Fame career out of a money 3 and not much else.

not just the 3 his shot from anywhere was crazy, and his fake was so effective because his shot was was accurate you had to jump. His ability to score after drawing contact after you bit on his fake was uncanny.
I think DJ made a compelling argument for Drexler so I must agree.

i love to hate reggie but i have to respect him. i think people are underestimating him. anyone who watches basketball will say that reggie is NOT a one dimensional player. he is an underrated defender who plays games with the ref to get offensive calls to frustrate his opponents. he drove mj nuts. he also tires out his opponents moving without the ball so in the fourth quarter they are not as effective. he does those little things to get his team to win whether it is to draw a charge, tap back a rebound or whatever.
but i would pick drexler because he is more athletic and quicker. besides shooting and moving without the ball, he does everything else better than reggie.

I have to go with Drexler. He had the better career and was always the man on his team asides from Houston Rockets. If you guys don't know what I mean then here it is. How often did Miller lead his team in scoring category. He wasn't even the main man on his teams most years. Where as Drexler usually lead his teams in Prtland in scoring year in a year out. Another thing how man finals did Drexler see in his career, three with one championship. The numbers don't lie Drexler was much better and more important to his team. Miller had a great career but it doesn't compare to that of Drexler. A dream teamer/champion.

Hey, sorry to join this topic so late... but if you seem to think Reggie Miller didn't lead his team in scoring for most of his career... who did?
He led his team in scoring for a decade (1990-2000). Chuck Person was the leading scorer for the first 2 years of his career... was finally bested by Jalen Rose. During that span, he outscored notables such as Detlef Schrempf, Rik Smits, and Jalen Rose.
