he's a 6th man type. he needs work, but the differnce between a prospect like williams is he is a guy who can SCORe now in any league. you can work on things like shooting and defense, but you dont teach 40 inch verticals long arms, lightning quick first steps. hes the kind of value you can steal in the second round--would like to move our 53 up to 35-40 range. the draft is a second round draft, best value in the 2mnd round in history of nBA basketball.

If Louis is there at 54, why not? What I can't understand is why most boards have him so low, while a lot of them have Monta Ellis going first round. Is there a problem with Louis that I don't know about?

the problem is he is a 6-1 170 pound 2G who is not ready in terms of full fundamentals. No WAY he falls to 50 something, we would have to make a move up, but if you look at his superior physical athletiscm long arms, his incredible ability to score and his potential, no way he drops past 40 MAX. I predict he goes 31 to Atlanta, that why we have to take a serious looksie

OK I hear you. I like Nate over Louis at 30 though.

But the good thing about Louis aside from his reach is his heart - dude seems tough and focused, which you also can't teach. I hope he gets a guarenteed contract either way.

I like nate a lot to obviously, but you have to keep your eyes wide open. Nate could go 24, or a guy like Mccants could drop, and thats where you might want to find a way to move up that 53 to 35-37. Bottom line Louis Williams can SCORE, he can score on ANYONE. Its funny but like 3 hours after I posted this thread, they put up an article on Louis Williams on the draftcity site working out with Lebron and saying how he was scoring quite well in their games. Hes got an allen iversen like first step and can score, hes going to be a great 6th man.
