Frye jacks up to 7.

Their commentary is OK, but if you look back at their mock draft each year, they are by far the most accurate. two years ago they hit 24/29 spots

has us taking randolph morris at 30. haven't heard much about him but his scouting report looks really good, one year of college polish more than the HS centers but still room for improvement and growth...

They are starting to get feed back from pre-draft work outs. Frye is a center and he is mobile and productive. He blocks shots and rebounds along with a servicable post game. I can see him getting drafted higher than we think.

Not bad. I think if the Knicks could come away from this draft with a player like Greene at 8 and then the ability to choose Randolph Morris at 30 we'd have to say it was a very good draft for the Knicks. I like Morris alot, he was only a freshman this year at Kentucky but he played a major role on that team that went deep into the NCAA tourney. Good post game around the basket and improving 13-17foot jumper. He's wasn't a bad defender this year, he's just still learning, I don't remember him blocking a ton of shots or anything but he was never getting beaten by his man. He's gonna be a good player, perfect NBA center body. If Zeke came away from this draft with him and Greene it'd be a nice success.

Edited for major spelling problems, I was at a concert last nite and I'm still feeling the effects

I've always liked Frye, I wouldn't mind snagging him. When all is said and done, I think Frye and Warrick will be lotto picks.

I think Frye could be a back end lottery 10-14. I wish his frame was like Christ taft's--if you combined the two, then you might have pick 2 in the draft. He does have one of the most polished games, much more so than any Euro. I think that Martynas and Fran Vazquez are 20 spots to high. You are looking at mid 20s for both. Its a lot of hype on those guys, they are not in the clas of Splitter. Splitter we will be a lottery pick

he would be a great pick at 30. My friend, nyk4ever, who watches a ton of college ball really likes him. He had a good season and was only a freshman. He could be a major late 1st round boozer like steal i think.

Frye is interesting if he really dominates workouts and shows that he is not a stiff. He's definitely the most nba ready but I would hope he has a huge upside because I want to draft the guy with the most star potential and Zeke will find him. I think nbadraft was going to rank him higher anyway after the tournament he had but they only updated it now because the Lotto is coming up. I can see them overranking him though just because he's a 7ft. I mean this guys have Martynas going 5th! I think Briggs is right he will go somewhere between 10-15

What do you think Splitter needs in order to become a good NBA player? You think he's the next Dalembert or somethin'?

This board has Nate still around at 30. How can we pass on that?

We can't. I haven't been one of Nates biggest supporters but its only been becuase of his size. The guy has a ton of talent and if he does well in Chicago workouts in the scrimmages or whatever it is they do then thats great, let's take him.
Briggs has been behind Nate since Day1 so I'll give Briggs the props if Nate works out. I'd love for him at #30 even right now just because he has top10 talent and that is tough to pass on. Let's just hope he proves himself in the workouts.

Taft isn't dropping he's still in the top 10. Guarantee you he goes way higher based on Martynas and Vazquez not going in the top 10 alone!
