...it wil be P.J. Carlisimo, which is a coach I like. I just heard it today from someone with an inside track. He was a good offensive coach already, and had to have learned something about Defense as Pop's top assistant. just sharing the info, when we know for sure who it is, we'll see how accurate or inaccurate I was.

I 2nd that but if PJ is the guy then I'll have to live with it and hope it works and he develops the youngsters

Isn't Sprewell a free agent. Do you think he'd want to come back to play for the Knicks under his favorite coach and his favorite owner?

Unless the new coach, whoever it is, is willing to develop young players, he is going to be a disaster. Would P.J. be willing to do that?
