I was very optimistic about the coming season, but little by little I am losing my optimism because it looks like more and more that Herb will remain as our coach and Kurt will still be around as our center....Isiah has disappointed me from his coaching choices so far....He has passed on all of the capable folks that could have helped our squad, and that is disturbing to me.

a good coach is a vital part of a team, and frankly, he is doing a lousy job at picking coaches so far...

Dude, it's only May. Give it some time. Remember how long it took last summer to get the Crawford deal all worked out?

Yes, there's still a lot of time left. But I agree that Isiah has been very bizarre in his coaching decisions, not just bad choices, deeply bad. The funny thing is, I like ALL of Isiah's roster moves so far.

I could be wrong, but I believe that one of the reason has made bad coaching choice is because he has aspiration to coach the Knicks. He is very uncertain with himself and as a reason, he can't seem to be able to make the right picks...

diderotn - Trades are not done until the season is over.

About Herb. I would not be upset if he was still our coach for next season. He has shown that he will not tolerate prima donnas and is not afraid to sit down so-called superstars and go with what is working. You have to give him a training camp to really judge him. Him considering the triangle offense is very encouraging. What this means to me is that he is not afraid to look at all options.

In regards with trades, with Zekes track record, I am sure he is trying all avenues on trade scenarios. The teams I have a good feeling that would be ITs trade partners are Memphis, Minny, Houston and the Lakers.

I liked them all too. I actually see us heading in a direction that can enable us to trade ANY PF.

So, if we draft two players this year, who doesn't make the team next year? the CBAers? (that's assuming there is a season next year )

I am going to say it again, I will be offly pissed if Isiah doesn't comeout of this draft with at least 2 Centers...There are too many of bigs out there on this draft...We can at least find us a Dampier, or Illguskas in this draft....

Or package Kurt and Penny for a potential all star center.

I think I'd take a bet that doesn't happen. One center maybe...but two? the odds are slim to none.

If Isiah drafts at least 2 Centers, it will be a clear sign that he is doing his best to address our Center issues, but if he does otherwise, the media and basketball brainiacs will kill him....especially after the bizmal year that we have just had..

If we come away with a good center, a shooting guard and SF I won't be disappointed at all.

why don't Isiah just take over himself...enough of this crap...he needs to be held accountable for the team he put together...time to put up or shut up Isiah! coach this group of players YOU put together & let's see if you deserve to hold onto your job next season!

I agree...Instead of trying to find a freaking coach that he will turn around and fire once the pressure starts to mount, he needs to assume the responsibility himself.

Theym make pills for this.

Its like the unocomfortable silence. YOur unerved by the lack of activity. There is not much to do now until june. Only thing would be to hire a coach. Can hire one thats not working now, or wait until one gainfully employed season is over.

Kurt cant go until after the season.

Anxiety.
