I think this is a chess move, trying to keep kwame's value high. He must realize Kwame will never play well for them and the relationship is permanently damaged at this point. They just don't wanna lose him for nothing. I don't think they have him by the balls, I think they see him as a trade asset whose overall value to them plummeted and this is their attempt to raise that value somewhat.
I guess. His trade value would be higher, though, if they hadn't suspended him and had just benched him or played him only 5 mpg. Another possibility I was thinking of was that they do want to re-sign him and chose to suspend him rather than ignore the missed practice because they thought it would drive down his value and they could re-sign him more cheaply. I don't think a team would jeapordize its chances to win playoff games just to drive down a player's value, though.
I wasn't saying the suspension was the chess move, I was saying the public position they took after the playoffs were already over was.
I know you weren't saying that. I was just saying that the thought had crossed *my* mind, but that it probably wasn't a chess move.
I know Bonn3p0 is hard for this young buck, but we gotta get with stronger character players.
I want Kwame only if the cost is low. I would not give up our lottery pick, Marbury, Crawford, Ariza, or an expiring contract for Kwame.
What is bonn1997 anyway?
Bonn1997 refers to my 1997 Pontiac Bonneville. Not having a gf for a while (my situation when I picked the name) can cause a guy to love his car. Not only did I have no gf, I didn't even have an toy gay robots either!
