This guy isn't the run and jump athlete I though he'd be.. but is a really long 6'8 with a great handle and sweet stroke. Below are highlights from the season. He looks alot to me like Paul Pierce. He is real fluid and decisive.. and can get his own shot. I read the Briggs comparison of really tall Josh Howard and Pippen, and they are accurate too.. He could be a point forward with his ball handling. Good safe pick with offensive upside. Granger is #33 in the video.

I've been touting Danny Granger for few months now. To me, there is very little downside with this player. He's a surefire contributor on the NBA level. He's a true two way player who can do a little bit of everything on the court.

All right. I am officially in love with Danny Granger. Is there anything this guy cant do? Three's, mid-range, alley-oop passes, posting up, blocks, sleals. This guy has it all.

And people want to take Martynas over him just cuz hes tall? Or lazy-ax Taft. Over this guy!!!!????? Give me break!

C'mon Isiah, draft this guy. He is now what Green will be in three year time!

I'm sure we could put together a highlight reel of Taft & Warrick too if we wanted. I like Danny but we need a front court player or a SG more than we need a SF. But if Isiah takes him thinks Granger is going to be special then won't complain. The one thing that separates Piercefrpm
Granger is that Pierce played for a better program in Kansas.

I said on another thread that if Granger didnt have a problem staying healthy at NM he would be a top 5 pick

Danny Granger couldve been a lottery pick 2 years ago, but hurt himself. Still, he's an excellent choice for the NY Knicks, there is no doubt about it. He's a fully developed 2 way player with toughness and has all the physcial attributes you want in a player. I said that one direction that would be a solid choice would be to go with PROVEN college players with high character skills, skills and athletiscm.

Wouldnt it be something if we could get that 19th pick from Memphis and got some luck and move 53 u with cash to the mid 30s

IF granger, bynum, and green were available for us to pick, who is your choice?

I think this is a tough one, but considering the knicks' needs, i'd rank them in the order of bynum, granger, and then green.

Um, the Knicks don't have a chance at picks 4-6. The can only have 1,2,3,8,9 and 10.

we *did* have a chance at pick 4-6 but blew it by playing to win all of the last games. but seriously, get over it people.

if someone can't stay healthy for a college season, how are they going to last 82 games plus playoffs? it's a big question mark for granger. but as far as his game goes, give him TT's role and we should be way better off in the long run, and with a guy like granger that wouldn't be far off.

Yeah Granger is the truth. An all around talent. I can see him in a NYK uni.

That nelly nba song on the highlight was hot...I never heard that song before
