I gotta say it, it annually becomes apparent that the goal of this team is to garner ratings and sell seats without championship teams.

A successful Broadway show need not win many Tony's or be critically acclaimed to be finanically successful!

Isiah may be more proactive than Layden is with Dolans directive to keep it competitive, but its just because it is our sole salvation at any chance to "compete" to build some youth. Are we building enough high quality blue chip youth? Sweets and Reezy are nice, but are they cornerstones? Is Crawful really gonna get more mature and team oriented? Is Marbs gonna get cheerful and be a good leader?

And we have not really addressed the Size issue!

This season is really gonna show the direction of the team. I suspect it will be a step in the right direction, but one thing I must admit: The Nets intrigue me! Might sound sacrilige, but they have an interesting group of players and opportunities.

I beg the Knicks to do it right, I will support any rebuilding effort, but this half commitment has been gong on for 30 years now, and yes I believe the ewing let teams were not as strong as the could have been if management showed a little patience! I always thought they rushed each season to try to win NOW and by doing so handicapped themeselves. Old subject.

Isiah, do what you need to do to move up, build a STRONG foundation and I'll support you. muddle in mediocrity and I looking elsewhere!

30 years of Starphuching is to much!

I can understand that. I agreed with the majority of Isiah's decisions so far, but that would change if he uses our key assets this summer on over the hill players.

I have a feeling he is going strong for Big Z, and he'll be willing to spend A LOT for him. I promise I'm handing in my Knick card if that's the case.

If I had to guess...a card for anger management that all Knick fans should keep handy.

Well duh, in order to be a Knick fan, you have to have a Knick card. It's just like having a passport to fly overseas. Where have you been?

It's not like Big Z's a bad player or has been injury prone over the last 3 years. Anything that brings him here without giving up our lottery pick or more than one expiring contract is okay with me. He's a great veteran to have complimenting a young core of a Ariza, Crawford, Sweetney, and the 8th pick.

I agree with that statement Bonn. I know for a fact that you and I have been some of the most outspoken Zeke supporters on this board but if he goes out and trades our #8 for some overpaid veterans then I'm going to have a real hard time explaining my faith in the guy.
