Carlisimo - I know this is not popular on this site but its tough to discount what his peers are saying about him. I also wonder how much weight Malik Rose's opinion carries.

Cheeks - I don't think so.

McMillan - I like him, but he just seems to be Mr Supersonic.

Phil - Ain't happening.

Laimbeer - With no NBA experience, I think he'll need to be an assistant 1st.

Flip - Cavaliers.

PJ is the guy IT will choose. Anybody disagree?

I don't know how it's going to pan out. If you're right about McMillan staying in Seattle, and I think you are, we'll probably stay with Herb.

we can still get Flip. who do you think Zeke is gonna listen to Rose or Marbury. Steph loves Flip. Flip develops players and benches overpaid bums.

Most NBA players do not respond well to screamers. PJ was a screamer in college and the pros. What do you think will happen the first time that he screams at Marbury? College kids will take it, but fatcat pros won't respond well to that.
So, PJ is out for that reason.
Phil ain't coming, I think he'll wind up in Sac.
Herb lost his chance with such a poor showing down the stretch
Ya know what? This will be Zeke's last chance, because of the firing of Cheney, poor timepassedmeby Lenny and eventually Herb.
So........
WHAT ABOUT HUBIE BROWN? He's healthy and would love to coach again. And,
I'm sure that he would love to coach the Knicks. Give him a two year contract...IMO he's the best (but most unexplored) option that we have. I don't think that there would be compensation due to Memphis, would there?
Hubie's the guy for the job.
We will NEVER win with Marbury as our cameo guy.

Hubbie, Fratello, Pop, and Larry Brown are all screamers....PJ is not stupid, he know what was his weakness and I am very sure that he has changed his ways. The dude is at least 8 years older since he has last coached. People change with age..

Can anyone tell me if Hubie (if he were to come here) has compensation due to Memphis? If not, hands down he is the guy for this mess. Whatdoyathink, Briggs?

Frankly, why aren't there more candidates for one of the most highly profiled jobs in pro sports? We SHOULD have a dozen coaches to choose from, not 3 or 4! If a guy comes in and rights this mess, he'll make a huge name for himself! Who, then, is up for the challenge?

Hubie's my pick and I'm stickin' to it!

Hubie had to step down in Memphis for health reasons, but he's healthy enough to be coaching in NY with THIS team?
