anyone think that marbury had some kind of surgery this summer?

on his knee or ankles this summer and they are keeping quiet?

isiah did make a trip out to LA, and it was just to see Marbury. that peaked by interest, marbury was hurting real bad---i wonder if these dufus knick reporters could stop and figure it out--check it out, instead of lolly gagging who the new retreaded coach will be

Remember, the Knicks have been notorious for keeping their mouths shut when it comes to injuries, but that is true in this case, b/c it would be good for us to know. Maybe Isiah knows it's serious but wont tell the public to keep his trade value up?

We'll see in training camp if we see any lingering effects on how serious this injury is.

Yes I am certain he will have unsuccessful surgury and he will wind up on IR making $22mil per year. Thats what they get for not trading him sooner like I was hoping for and playing him for over 45mins every game down the meaningless stretch

They did it with Houston, McDyess. If they're good enough to be an impact player, they'll drive them to the injured list. This should be no surprise.

Worse. His knee problems are inoperable.

It's possible he was checking on Marbury post-surgery. It's also possible he was there checking on Houston's rehab. After Houston went on the IL he was rehabbing in LA for awhile. He could have met with the Lakers or Clipers about a trade. He could have had someone workout for him and didn't want the press to know. He could have had a secret meeting with Jackson and is simply denying it. If the NYK isn't saying why Isiah was in LA there is no way of knowing.

I think it's highly plausible, I mean he was hurting quite bad. You cant just spray calamine lotion on knees he was having troubles running on! he's had two surgeries on his ankles already, I wonder if he is having multiple procedures right now, or HAD?

I doubt Marbury had surgery. Him, Crawford, and Moochie Norris were at a boxing match on HBO last night, so I think he is just enjoying his summer.
