Do all these deals work in the CBA? If they do, I like the makeup of your roster

I would rather trade Marbury.
Lamar played with Kobe, while Marbury played with KT. And the Lakers finished 1 game better than the Knicks.

The Lakers will have the Zen Master next season, and they will be over their Shaq withdrawal.

Plus Kobe only played 66 games.

both trades work under the cap, but Grant can't be traded till after July 1 cuz he has an opt-out clause in his contract that he won't use. Even if Grant loses his mind and opts out, Crawford and Kurt for Odom still works under the cap. Penny could be traded for Jalen (also can't be moved till July 1, I'm not sure why though) or used in another deal if Grant has a lobotomy.

Odom is the best player in that deal... by far. LA would get eaten alive
in the west.. even more than it was. This deal.. would be good for the Knicks. Odom is a player with unique skills. Nice talent for the knicks.. but not realistic, IMO.

I like odom, but I would really rather improve the team keeping Crawford, he could be a really big part of our success. Having said that, I would do it, he and Steph played well in the olympics and we could use a versatile player like Odom no matter what style of play we eventually choose. Brian grant aint bad to have on the boards either. If we're gonna have a fake center I'd rather have him than KT.

here ya go, this is the kind of trade the knicks like to make

Mike Sweetney, Penny Hardaway, Tim Thomas, trevor Ariza, Picks 8+30 for Lamar Odom Brian Grant + Devean George.

first their is hype ODOM ODOm man, NY brother man, hes our boy.

then we go 35-47 and blame it on cohesion or something, perhaps an injury

and for goodness sakes all of a sudden the Lakers are back in the playoffs AND they have huge cap room via US! On top of that Ariza and Sweetney breakout and the picks turn out to be hot players. We just rebuilt the LA lakers and took on Brian grant for Lamar Odom--who if he is caught smoking one more blunt is out of the league!

If Isiah keeps the player taken #8, are you going to admit that you misjudged the situation severely?

Briggs you are the worst!! Even for the Knicks that would be horrible. That team would definitely win more than 38 games, that would be a good team though. I just don't see us giving up 2 young prospects, cap space, and 2 first rounders for a good player who is less than a star.

Im talking about an example of how the Knicks trade.

the Marbury trade cost
2 1's
2 young prospects
1 max ending contract of a reasonable player for sure
taking back huge contracts

so all i did was substitute what we have.

if we did anything like that, i would love it if we won 32 games. That would finalize the *plans8 of what isiah was trying???? to do--make other teams better by getting sckered into taking talented but chemistry breaking players by giving up draft assets, ending contracts and taking back a bad extra contract. thats been the plan so far, can anyone see anything else

isiah= trade for chmistry breaking talent that has a huge contract--we give up everything else--then the sht doesnt match and he will try to re do more at the deadline?

we can kep adding to the Pennys JYD with Brian grant a guy making like 16 mm and is worth 1.

Lampe is not worth anything.
Milos isn't here and aint coming soon if ever.
Dice was a bust/bum, he is just now proving to be a good backup and that is not what we got him for. We got him to be a star for us.

I think it was a good trade for the above reasons, and our picks were lottery protected so its not really crucial. We got an all-star calibur player who is doing everything we would have wanted him to do. What would we be doing with the players we gave up right now?

Whatever, keep rooting for Dice, Lampe, and Milos.

That's why I call Isiah the cap fairy of the NBA.
