Since there's a "no thanks" list posted, I thought that a Wish List was in order.
Here are some random thoughts:
1. Win the lottery. Slim chance, but if we did, BOGUT is ours!
2. Make Dumars an offer that he can't refuse for Darko. I agree with Briggs that he's probably just a late bloomer with an awesome upside.
3. Trade Marbury for a top 10 lotto pick this year, a #1 next year and a servicable player thrown in. I know that this is not going to happen, because Zeke has committed to Marbury. He must see something that I don't.
4. Trade Kurt Thomas for a top 20 pick this year.
5. Explore the Elton Brand availability situation.
6. Explore the Chris Wilcox health/ availability situation.
6. Hold onto expiring contracts and then LET THEM JUST EXPIRE!
We will NEVER win with Marbury as our cameo guy.

That's correct. I am the ultimate Red Sox fan and I've been following the Knicks since the glory years in the 70's. One team broke the curse and is now poised to be a contender for years; one team is floundering and meandering with no recognizable direction. I hope that this draft and the Feb. trade deadline sort alot of this confusion out. The NBA certainly needs a strong team out of NY to help market the league. Is another draft lottery fix in order?
