I think Green will step in right away with better than Ariza like potential, could send Trevor back to the bench.

I think Taft and Green both will go higher than we expect. I think that's why Isiah went to europe twice.

I trust Isiah.....we gotta remember that he is not like past GM's we have had. We'll get someone good.

The order is not out so obviously this is extremely rough, but Chad Ford ranked the prospects as follows:

1. Bogut
2. M Williams
3. Paul
4. D Williams
5. Martell Webster (this the 1st I've heard of him ranked ahead of Green)
6. Fran Vasquez
7. Andry....the 7'3" Greek Center
8. Warrick
9. May
10. Green

Two thoughts: I think Green is better than Webster & Warrick. I think Warrick lacks shooting & ball-handling skills

We need to move up the draft...because i am sure G Green wont be at #8...Warrick is good, but Green is special...he would be a great addition to the team. Imagen having such a young core..Ariza , Green, Hodges...Butler. There would be light at the end of the tunnel.

At least he took in to consideration of teams needs.
Chad is a consistant 'tard if you ask me.

Those are basically the 10 guys projected to go 1-10 with Taft definately fitting in there somewhere.

I think Portland will definately go for Green or Webster. They have always showed they aren't afraid to take a highschooler. Sabs has the reigns so I guess they wouldn't mind giving him someone to share the bumps with.

I think the Bucks are definately going with a big man. I've never seen Fran Vasquez play so I dunno about him. It's hard to see Taft sneak past the Bucks.

Toronto I think will take whoever is left from Green and Webster. They have Bosh and Rafael Araujo to go at center. Matt Bonner is also a guy that could really step up after having a great rookie season. They need the perimeter help especially with Rose on the bubble.

The Knicks? Isiah's got the left overs......I think it's possible for someone to slip though. These NBA GM's never draft what they actually need.

I am not basketball expert, but i will never understand why they wanted to win games that had no meaning....right now instead of the 8th pick we should have atleast the 6th...

I don't know Eny...they do have Mo Pete who fills that shooting need. I think they would want to fill the PG spot considering the problems they have been having with Skip.

ESPN final mock draft for 2004=0/29 thats right, the people who charge you 5 bucks a month for the *inside info* did not get 1 pick right.

this is a TOUGH draft, lets be honest. I do think that is for certain that Bogut Green and Marvin Williams are LONG gone before 8 and that Martynas isnt going to be top 15 since he wont come to the uS and workout. Even though he is 7-3, his body of work isnt lottery material, maybe 20-30. I would take him at 30 and leave him in Europe! WTF do I have to lose?

I think Granger Webster Green Felton Splitter Paul Bogut Williams D Williams Taft will be the top ten picks
in no particular order.

So Im guessing for us the order is

Green
Granger
Webster

I dont think the Knicks will pick Splitter, but we don't think outside the box. We will still be a *small* team--you can *guarantee* with all that tremendous cap space out there, ultimately we will not get Fa's that were mentioned here. the NY Knicks are RETREADS--if you can't see the picture, you are BLIND. BIG Z sounds like a NY Knick--30 years old, perhaps could be had with some kind of slip the lotto pick+ Tim thomas gig or something--thats where we are, nowhere land.

What about all the lottery teams that finished 9th to 14th? They all had awful teams too. (That's why the were in the lottery.) But they played hard and won more games than the Knicks. Does that mean they have worse planning than the Knicks?

They could draft Felton and try to trade Rafer. They still could take a chance on Webster or Green and do the same. Either way I don't see them going big.

It's their draft simulator. It took me 3 times to get the Knicks at #1.

I had us taking Taft at #8 and Bogut at #1.
