This young kid is a baller. He has a complete game. Too bad that he is in a small market and is not getting the recognition that he deserves, but this dude plays defense and can score at will. Last night Detroit failed to use this young kid as a go 2 guy despite the fact that he was killing whomever was guarding him. He was on fire, and his team-mates have selfishly ignored him even when he was open. Rip, Ben Wallace, and the PGs could have done a much better job at dumping the ball to this dude. He was calling for the ball at every possession, but never got served. Frankly, that is the reason why they lost. I know that Larry was extremely pissed, because he called several plays for Prince, but his teammates failed to execute as they should have......At this point, I think that Prince and Wade are the two best guards in the game. Lebron is good, but Prince is much better than Carmelo and Bron.

Much better than Bron? I think thats a reach and very hard to tell at this point because of the team TP plays with. But if you put Bron on that team, I think they are significantly better.

TP is a lockdown defender and Bron's D is average at best. I would absolutely love to have a guy like this on our team.

Are you serious? Prince is a great roleplayer, but better the LBJ and Melo? One may be able to make a case for Melo, but absolutely not for Bron.
As Killa said, Prince is a better defender, but for an overall game...wow, I still can't believe I just read that.

Anyway, I love Prince's game, and I'd love to have him in New York. I think we may have our own Tayshaun in Ariza.

ariza would need a lot of offensive polish. tayshaun doesn't look amazing on O, but he can consistently knock down jumpshots and score on drives to the hoop not ending in dunks. ariza needs a lot of work, he came into the league less experienced than tayshaun, but he's definitely got that potential.

Warrick is a nastier version of Prince. Both played PF mostly in school and need to make the transition to the 3 spot. Prince is a little longer while Warrick is stronger and a better finisher. Better rebounder and post game as well. Not as good on the wing with the ball.

This is the reason for my Warrick love.. Ariza has shown he can guard 2's and 3's. With Ariza and Warrick together you have 2 long athletic disruptive and TOUGH defenders on the wing. Two guys like that would look good with Marbury and even some of our bigs that play in the post like Mo T and Sweetney.

Too bad that he is in a small market

Detroit is the 10th largest TV market in the US. Hardly "small".

Okay, sorry to interrupt, as I am no longer a Knick fan and have nothing to say about them other than "I come back when Dolan leaves NYC!" Still, I enjoy seeing Bonn1997 and diderotn spin their wheels, hoping that Marbury will suddenly become useful in the NBA. The fact that he couldn't lead the USA to a gold medal, with Duncan no less, tells me all I need to know about that punk b#$%h.

Carry on. Good luck in there, fishy!

Don't sleep on TP's offensive game. He is very capable of being an strong offensive player if Larry Brown choses to use him that way. He has great ball handling skills, great court vision, and sneaky quick. You already know about his defensive abilities. All I am saying is that the only reason his name is not as big as Lebron, Melo and others is because he plays in a team oriented system. If he was featured as a go 2 guy which he should have been especially last night, people would have known a lot more about this kid. Prince is another version of Scotty Pippen who can be even better....Lebron and Carmelo are flashy and happen to play with a team that allows them to be the main offensive players...

T got amazing instincts for being at the right place at the right time. He makes amazing clutch plays. Last year he blocks reggies shot that would have won it.

He is not a go to guy, but a very important player who will do things on defense, and on offense that are not stats.

Reezy shows similar promise.

I like Ariza and I hope that he is a player like Prince. However Prince is far more developed and his game will only get better, because he has been exposed to great coaching (Tubby Smith, Carlisle and Brown) throughout his career. Reeza came into a really bad situation, and right now he doesn't even know who will be teaching him next season...

You can't really tell me that you think Marbury was the reason the team didn't win the gold. He was the only player on the US that played well in the medal round. He played better than Lebron, Iverson, and Wade in the medal round.

This U.S team was poorly assembled. A lot of guys chose not to participate. We didn't have shooters to kill the zone D that the international teams were playing....Don't blame Marb for what happened, because after all, this a team sport. The team lost
