if they play like they did last night. Ben Wallace is a gazelle and has developed an offensive game. Prince is so much improved. Rasheed is focused like never before. Billups is solid and Rip is at the top of his game. On top of this, even McDyess is looking decent. They are so cohesive. Shaq at 100% would have had a tough time with them. At less than, they won't take it to seven.
The Spurs would give them the best matchup but inside I don't think they have enough. The Wallaces will be tough on Duncan, and NY's own Nazr will have to step up bigtime for them to win. I hate to see it, but I think Detroit is going to repeat. I am rooting for Miami but it doesn't look good.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

Yeah I think Detroit will win it too. No matter who they play. They have the best time and the best team defense. They have good players at every position, I can't see a team beating them in 7.

Detroit has a tough road ahead of them.
Even if they beat Miami, which i'd say they have a good chance to do...

You gotta then beat either the Spurs or the Suns.
I'm not ready to crown the Pistons champs again.

But i will definitly be tuning in.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I'll take Miami and the Spurs before I take Detroit. The Pistons won't look this good in the conference finals (unless a miracle happens and Washington can beat Miami...fingers crossed).

If the Spurs play the Pistons in the finals, they better hope Duncan is 100% because I already seen what Nazr can do against the Wallaces.

Duncan looks like an "ordinary" 20/10 player rather than the unstoppable force he used to be; Shaq's nowhere near 100% either. Right now, Amare is the most unstoppable big man in the playoffs. I'm expecting it to be the Suns vs. the Pistons, and I think it's simply impossible to predict who would win that series. It would depend on which team could control the tempo of the game.

Detroit might not make it past Indiana at this point... man, that would be great. Let's hear it for Poetic Justice.

Its still early in the playoffs even though its round 2..this series could easily go 7 games or it could go 5 you just dont know. No team is a lock at this point.

Carlisle reminds me of Van gundy. Just grinding it out with what you got.
