it does not appear that the Knicks were willing to spend 8 on him, but i did gather the information that he couldve gone as high as 10 if he wanted to the LAL. Good that he pulled out< i think that no 17 YO really should be in the nBA, of course you would seriously consider drafting him because the probabilty of getting a guy his size is probably nill.

I never really thought he would jump directly anyway, his mother certainly didn't want him to.

Well Briggs congrats to you anyway because now you have him back at UConn!!

I'll be particularly interested in seeing how he plays next year and if he kicks butt and goes #1 the following year and we could have had him this year I'll be unhappy about it for approximately . . . oh let's say the REST OF MY LIFE!!!

Well funny enough, if the new CBA has the age rule, he'll be playing at least two yrs of college ball but probably 3.

Pity though, so who's next?
