"He's a step slow on everything," Nowitzki said after the game. "He never got involved in the game. He has always been in foul trouble. The first series was the same thing. He gets a quick two fouls in the first two or three minutes, and we can't be aggressive any more. Then he gets the third foul and has to sit."
Nowitzki continued.
"The bottom line is we've got to get something out of our center position," he said. "We really haven't gotten anything out of it."
I won't even post what Damp said in return...he's a loser.
I sent him a e-mail through his website during the off-season giving him encourgement and telling him to sign with Indiana or the Knicks. I told he he needed to get more aggressive in the post because he has nice moves and footwork.
He wrote back and told me that fans don't really know what goes on behind the scenes and he needs more touches. It's up to the coaches.
Total crap.
I'll look for the e-mail on my computer and post it if it's still there.
