I know what you mean. Its actually in terrible shape but here is the good thing, there is finally reason to cheer. THe Knicks sucked, the Giants sucked and the Yankees sucked till a few weeks ago. They are finally back! Winning has returned to NY and its wearing the pinstripes.

Injuries have hit us at a bad time, but the Yanks keep pulling up. Most of our pitchers are in the DL and our bad situation in the starting pitching department showed last night. But that happens when your pitcher is coming from the minors. Today is another day and we have an extremely better pitcher on the mound. Go get' em, Unit!

HUGE win today after the last terrible loss and the fact that we still have injury problems. A very good outing from Big Unit with yet another big 2-run homer by A-Rod. Big win. As expected the Yanks traded for Al Leiter, and I can only hope he is better than Redding and May. Any win now, with all our injuries, is great news for us...

I thought yesterday's win was a huge one, but the Yanks were still full of more surprises for me and Yankee fans. Al Leiter. Acquired yesterday. Making his first start in SO MANY years for the Yankees. First start: against the Red Sox. In the middle of a pennant battle, with the Yankees in such a terrible stretch because of injuries. hey gamble on Leiter. Results? He pitched 6.1 innings of three hit, one run, 8 Ks baseball! Amazing! So we are just 0.5 games out of the first place! Wow!

Keep it up, Yankees!

First Place:

For the first time since the start of the season, the Yankees are atop the AL East after winning 11-10 against the Rangers while the Red Sox lost 3-1 to the Devil Rays. While the race is FAR FROM OVER, its amazing that the Yankees have made it back after having such a dissapointing season. But the Yankees have been playing their best baseball lately, winning even when their starting pitching has been mediocre due to comebacks from the DL or emergency starts.

Brown wasn't great, but wasn't completely terrible considering this was his rehab start. He gave up 6 runs in 5+ innings, but remember that he used to give up those 6 runs in the first inning alone. The bullpen that came after him was shaky, giving up the 3 run lead we had (9-6) and then putting us in a hole 10-9. But a hit by Sierra gave us the lead back, and then it was Mo time, thus winning again.

Now, its time to keep the good play going because the arms are slowly coming back, but not at 100%. Its a three team race, and there is more baseball to play so we have to keep this play going...

Well, tough loss, but its ok. We didn't play bad in the game and we are still on this battle so we'll see what happens today...

We aren't called the bombers for nothing! All of our offense came from the long-ball yesterday in a 8-4 win against the Rangers. Still half a game from first place...

I don't really like the Angels. They seem to play at their best against the Yankees. But finally the Yanks could win a series with two great comeback wins.

The Giambino is back! 2 homeruns, the second in the top of the 9th to win it and avoid the sweep. This should be a fun second half of the season for Yankee fans. (Okay, rough two losses before tonight, but no need to worry about that right now.)

LOL so we suck because we lose to the team with the best record in MLB by a run in extra innings while you beat Texas? Haha gimme a break! You had to be a Red Sox fan. Lets see how your team does against them now. You got lucky in the first try.
