Okur/crawford.
Nobody really talks about this guy much, but I believe he is a perfct fit for this team. Lets face it steph is not a runner, he is always better in a half court set, and okur is about as talanted as kt, maybe not as tough, but he does have height, shot blocking abilty, and can stretch the defense with his outside shooting plus he's young.

Haywood/KT
seems like he can be Ben Wallce with the right big man( about the only thing IT has done righ) coach. Then we can overlook TT defensive issue with a guy like haywod, also excels in the half court offense and can rebound offensivly like sweetny but 50 times better.

Kwame/ariza,2k61st pick,
The picks probaly going to be in the late twentys. Kwame has just as much potential as sweetny and ariza if not more. The kid is a late bloomer. Out of all the high school kids pick in the 1st rnd the last 5/7 years, he by far, was the most unprepared, and being around MJ for his first 2 seasons, 1st as your manager, then as your teammate made matters worse. With the right coach and enviroment MJ would look brilliant.

IF we can get any two of these three, we would solve a lot.

A while ago, I started a thread on Okur, because it looked like Utah was gonna have to make some changes again, and it seemed like he was out favor because he wasn't starting. But this guy started having some big time games down the stretch of the season when he was put in the starter's role. Now I wonder if he'd be available. He's not exactly what we need (defense), but we could certianly use a well rounded offensive player who 6-11 250.

Haywood does play D, but he seems to have consistency issues. But the Wiz are essentially choosing between Kwame and Haywood, and it seems Kwame is the man to move for sure. Kwame is the great unknown and very risky...I wouldn't give Ariza and our 2k6 first rounder for him...no way. That first rounder next year might be just as valuable as our first rounder this year...

Kwame is not worth the risk. I would trade Kurt straight up for him, but I wouldn't include a draft pick with the deal. One thing that Isiah may consider is to also trade for either Hayes or Jefferies in that deal. Hughes is a very long shot, and Dixon may not be re-signed. Dixon and Kwame for Kurt

Kwame/ariza,2k61st pick,
Please say that was a typo! I don't think I'd give up Ariza or the '06 1st rounder alone for Kwame.

If Washington would agree, I would do the Kurt for Haywood deal in a second.

As for Crawford for Okur, personally I'm not onboard for this. I guess I'm just not a big Okur fan, but I can see people doing this.

I'm thinking Zeke will offer Kwame the MLE. I agree he'll be interested, for better or worse...

but the big question is, does Washington MATCH a MLE for Kwame? I don't think so.

I wouldn't mind throwing the MLE at him, I'd much rather give it to Chris Andersen, but I can't blame Zeke for being intrigued. I would NEVER EVER give up Ariza.

I hate Okur and I don't the Wizards will give up Haywood.

None of these three is an upgrade, and one is an obvious downgrade (Kwame/Ariza). IT would be better served to revamp the coaching staff than spend time on non-impact trades like these.

You see this is the problem with most fans, your looking for more tatlant then you are chemistry and substance. Of course talant is a factor, but lets be honest..I just read where somebody said nazy looks good in San an, KVH played better then he has in a long time once he got here ect, ect .

A bunch of marquee players are not what matters to a championship team it's total sacrfice and hard wrk. Thats why fundamentals are starting to become the main focus, role players knowing there role.
With detriot you have talant and fundamentals, with San an you have hard work and fundamentals, and everybody knows there role.

Those three players have something that can help this team, but you can't have just one of them you need at least 2 any 2, becuase they will complement each, simply becuase none of there styles are the same. they each bring something different.

The problem we have now is our reserves play the same has the starters, you never get a different flow or much of a change in energy other then JY & ariza, and they pretty much have the same style at a different position, same as JC/steph penny/houston rose/kt sweetny/taylor. TT is our lone versitile player and the book is out on him already no need to go further.
