same ole sht from antonie(i sck) walker on 2-11 at the half, but I am so impressed all year with this kid al jefferson. this kid reminds me of a young moses malone. Same body, same agility, long arms, soft touch. There is no doubt that tghe future of the Celtcis revolves around Al Jefferson, who with Josh Smith were the absolute steals of last years draft in the mid rounds. To bad these guys didnt put in 1 freakin y in CBB, or we would be looking at a nice group

As mentinoned above, without Pierce is technical at the end of regulation, there may have been no need for OT.

Some of us knick expatriots in exile were just howling on how bad the celtics are. "team Gazy" is one term. Walker is lame, and We were just getting all over how stupid Pierce looks all game with his empty glaze.

Selfish play all around, they should have buried the Pacers time and time again. Pacers are just limping, "dead team walking". We give them props for trying. But the celtics were just awful!

Then Pierce does his stupid thing and nearly blows the game! Very selfish play!

We were reminded by the dumb techs Starks and Mason used to get despite Riles pleas to stay focused and in the moment! Those guys were mutts and can almost be excused as they were like ex-convicts plucked from the "green machine" to play. Pierce is a max money with a big school pedigree. His fall in the draft was truley warranted!

He is not big money dude, and in no way should we touch either him or Walker. They are not even fun to watch!

Apparently Pierce fractured his jaw on the play. When you're in severe pain, sometimes you react before you think. Anyone can do that.

Jefferson is a good player, nice touch around the hoop, he was a mid round steal. Josh smith is still to be determined, but the other smith, JR smith was the real steal, the hornets got themselves one fantastic talent in JR.... I agree with nalod, pierce and Walker are two clown... they are now an annoyance to watch..

He was wearing a crazy looking wrap on his jaw during the post game interviews. He was hurt on the play but didn't react to any pain. He proceeded to take his jersey off, etc.....Boston could have been eliminated tonight because of Pierces antics.

I agree. I love his the way he moves. He doesn't force contact and he uses what God gave him nicely. He doesn't waste his wingspan.

What will make him a good player down the road is getting into the game and not letting outside stuff get to you.......unlike his team leaders in Walker and Pierce.

I thought he said he was wearing that stupid wrap as some display that he was hit, and he was in the wrong. It was very stupid display both visually and verbally. He is a freaking idiot. No fracture, the wrap by his admission was merely a "prop".

Well yeah it was a prop. If he would have fractured his jaw he wouldn't be able to talk.

On that last regulation play Tinsley should have been T'd up for continuing to molest Pierce even after the whistle was blown.

Funny you mentioned Walker. I take a different take, yes he's erradic but the bottom line is this guy is a good player and can definatly be a part of a winning bb team. How many clutch shots does he have to hit before people respect his game?

Do I want him? Not at this age and stage of his career, but he could easily duplicate with us what Jamison did for Chi. Put a 20/8/5 player in the frontcourt and it goes a long way to loosen things up for everyone else. That seems to escape people... all they ever focus on is the 2-11 ion a bad half.

Tell me.. how did that game end? Who won? Who hit big shots and couldnt be guarded down the stretch?

Jamison plays inside like a bigman. that is why Washington has been successful because they added a post presense to a great backcourt and wing players. Adding perimeter shooting 40% FG Walker to the Knicks woudld not have the same effect. Adding a Brand or Randolph will or if Taft becomes thats guy.

Walker is a funny guy. I think his second calling is comedy. His first calling is being the goto man when needed. He was definitely needed late in the 4th and in OT and he came through.
