Watching the game last night (game 4) it became clear to me that Denver has a good team of young talented players, but they are missing something: they need a slasher/shooter type on their squad.
They have no one who can make a 3, or slash well, which is why it would make sense for them to look closely at Crawford:
Crawford isn't a 3 point specialist but he definitely can bang them, and he has good handle and can slash to the basket as well. he isn't a pure shooter, but he is a scorer who can shoot well from everywhere. I could definitely see him fitting into George Karl's system, and it might be enought to put them over the top and plug their hole at the 2.
The deal would look like this: Crawford and our #30 for Nene, Voshon Lenard (with one year left at 3 million) and their #22

denver can not afford to trade nene b/c they need all 3 (camby, nene, kmart) b/c ANY of them can do down with an injury, and kmart tends to be foul prone and disappear in big moments.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzz..... dream on, dude.
Instead of throwing away their precious assets like Nene, Lenard's good shooting & ending contract, and their pick, they could simply sign a decent SG or draft one.

Voshon Lenoard is a rap in this league. It's over for him. maybe he can be good for 15 minutes off the bench. Craw is a young talent who can put up points in this league on a nightly basis. I really don't want NeNe that badly, he doesn't block shots and he doesn't rebound as good as he should either, but he hs talent offensively and he played Duncan decently as well.

Denver's not going to want to spend the remaining $50 mil on a question mark player like Crawford. Most teams can't afford to take that kind of gamble.

Oh well, its just a thought, I think they could really make the most of his talents. He's ready now, and if he adjusts nicely they have a very good team for years to come.
