I really want to bring in Sammy, but #3 and Sweets? I don't think I'd give up that high of a pick.

i love Dalembert, but i don't think i'd make that deal...it's just too much to give up...the #8, Sweetney & TT for Dalembert & a filler contract i would do however.

All that just for Dalembert?

I love Dalembert. He understands what he is supposed to be doing. He's worth more than the mid-level....but TT is making 15 mill. How is this the least big reasonable?

Not even if it were the projected #8th pick. If possible I would definately consider trading Philly #8 along with Penny or TT for a resigned Dalembert and Aaron Mckie I think that is more realistic.

Still Isiah would have to do something about the 5 headed monster the Knicks have at the 4 spot with KT, Sweets, JYD, Rose, and Mo Taylor.

if we got pick 3 id like to trade it with one of our bad contracts for toronto's two picks and jalen rose. they could use chris paul since alston seems to not be getting along with the organization, and we could use depth and jalen rose. this gets rid of one bad contract and allows us to package tt and penny in some deal. with the 7th pick we could pick taft or green/webster, and with 16 we could get warrick, petro, frye, or mccants. a marbury, green, rose, sweetney, and petro lineup is pretty appealing.

No offense, but what is it with some of y'all and Samuel Dalembert?

The guy is athletic, can block shots, and I would not be oppossed to him being a part of the Knicks but all season some here have acted like he is the missing link between us and a championship.

He's a nice, young player but not the next coming of Kevin Garnett, sheesh.
Forum Po Po and #33 for a reason...

no he's not. but he's a HUGE piece for us at a position that's tough to fix. he's gonna cost ALOT of money and going by history, this team will NOT try to let these contracts expire and try to get under the cap.

anyways, we have a .0562% shot at him BUT he is going to be REALLY REALLY good - especially defensively. think mutombo in his prime but quicker and more athletic. he can change the game strictly on his block shot ability and in this day and age, that's almost impossible to find.

Maybe I'd trade down our pick for Philly's if we were getting Dalembert. Or does Philly not have a pic this offseason? I can't remember if it was one of the pics NJ sent to Toronto in the Vince deal.

Man, if we get the #3 make two things:

1. Hope Bogut falls there so you can solve most of our problems at the 5 for a long time.

2. If doesn't happen, take Williams, or Green, take a franchise player! Dalembert would help us but he is no franchise player! Sign Hunter with the MLE, trade a PF, do whatever to get a center, but keep the pick.

If we make a move like the # 3 pick, kt, Rose & Marbury for Dalembert, Mashburn, Iverson & a 2nd rd pick! I would be happy W get rid of 2 PF's plus a nice defensive center to pair with sweets and ofcourse Poison Ivy !!
Isiah Thomas will lead us back to the playoffs in 2006 !!!

Yeha, Dalembert isnt worth the salary dump and the potential stars in are Green and Marvin Williams. No way.
