then, why must we get another guy who is about the same size? Don't we have enough PFs on our roster already? Forget about it, go after the kid Akindale, he is a true center and most of all, he can score, rebound, and block shots.

this guy sounds like the sleeper of the draft. Atrhletic muscular 6-10 270 with long arms, just turned 22, putting up hige numbers in the tough Brazillian league. Apparently he was only a marginal player but has come on like gangbusters in the last 6 weeks. Thats why a big man, you can never give up on them. One thing is for sure, his body trumps anything in the draft including Taft. This guy almost sounds like a candidate for the 30 pick. Sounds like a guy who can come off the bench and play right away.
If you look at guys like Nene Barbosa, andersen verajo, these brazillians can play ball.

Butler sounds like a keeper, but this would also be my main reason why I do not want Herb back. Even if this kid had inferior skills to the guys 10+ years older than him, what does it say about the guy that he doesnt get the kid in games? give him a shot--is he a good prospect? he looked like it. but that is the biggest problem on the knicks--the roster is FU and so mismanaged that even the diehard fan cant grasp what is going on?

They do, they are just blind to the fact that Herb has been with the Knicks for a while. Herb is garbage.

if you are a 6-10 270 just turned 22 athletic intimdating player who has been putting up big numbers in the brazillian leagues, let the knicks know--otherwise, this guy is an unheralded prospect that deserves serious attention.
