i liked this part - "his famous hook shot." DO you guys know how many THOUSANDS of points a 7-footer could score in this league with a hook shot?

I hate how euro leagues play their biggest "potential" or nba guys very little. I know they're just trying to protect their assets, but can't they let the scouts get a good look

undersized and doesn't block enough shots. Similar to Nazr in those aspects. And this is the guy some people here think will be a franchise center.

7'0" 260 is undersized? He's plenty big enough.

thats if he listed correctly.

he looked more like 6'9-6-10 230 at most in those clips and he's paying against skinny Euros!

for example draftcity also has Splitter listed at 7'0 240 when he's really 6'11 in shoes and problably more like 220

yet draftcity still lists petro as a PF/C. I don't think he'd be considered a PF if he was indeed 7ft 260

For argument's sake, would you be ok with this guy if he was indeed 7 feet?

Yes because I think he can be ok a few years down the line. I'm just not convinced he can play Center against NBA centers. Not at his size.

I think once people go back and look closely at the clips they will agree.

His strength is actually scoring not blocking shots and rebounding but scoring against Euro competition is a lot easier than scoring on NBA PF/C's. and he's certainly not a polished scorer.

I'm trying to compare him to a current nba player who played in Europe but does nothing well enough to start in the nba but is an ok 12th man on the bench....

who knows about this guy, i tend to agree that he is no where near 7-0 260 , have you seen a picture of deji akindale? he is 7-1 245-250 and look how thick he is. maybe petro is 7-0 260, its impossible to know. the one foreign guy that really stood out to me is bargnani, but he is a PF.

I would definitely take Petro. Petro, Frye or Warrick are where I would look.

Petro will probably move into the lotto if his measurements/workouts in Chicago impress people.

Come to think of it, I'm sure Isiah was scouting Petro on Sunday when he had this good game.

Name one Knick who's averaged 1 block every 14 minutes since Camby left?
