Phoenix won, but as poorly as Memphis played, they were not dominant. Pau Gasol was bad, and they wont win like that. Too many turnovers for Memphis and not enough dribble penetration. They need someone who can handle the rock besides J. Will and Posey aint it. Mike Miller did his job and J. Will was good but not great. Memphis can beat them, they probably wont, but they could. Pao has to be way more dominant, he is really the key for them to win, he can cause problems for Phoenix. Memphis was basically shooting lots of jumpers. It was amazing how they were in it the whole game up until the last 4-5 minutes. Maybe Mike Fratello can figure out how to make them play better, but it wasn't bad at all for an 8th seed playing an away game against the team with the best record in basketball. They should play them really tough at home.

J. Williams needs to really take it to Nash and Pau has to be a big factor. They can beat Phoenix, I HATE PHOENIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Game 2
So far so good, memphis is in it. Pau is playing very big as of the 3rd quarter. he's 16 and 13. now its 18 and 15 and 5 assists. Jayson williams is playing well too, he has 15 but only 1 dime. Mike Miller has 0 points and 4 fouls. He'll need to play big in the 4th for them to win. memphis is down 3 with 3 minutes left in the 3rd

Pau is unstoppable right now

its tied up with 3 and change left, and Phoenix just came back to tie it mind you. Pau is playing HUGE do far. Win or Lose memphis believes right now, and they will be tougher at home.

I have been watching the games closely also, because I hate the suns too, but lets face it, the Great jerry west has put together a team of guys who are not sure of themselves and basically a soft team. I thought gasol was tougher than he has shown, but he is soft, getting his shot thrown by Stumpy Q Richardson was a the back breaker for me.. Posey is not the same player he was last year. J will is a wreck, watson is unsure, the only guy wantin to shoot is Miller. The grizzlies are just not a fast team, they are a unusual mix of players if you ask me, they aren't really good in the half court and they are not a really good running team either, I mean are you telling me the "great" jerry west put this team together? Fire him now!!!!! I thought only IT put together unbalanced teams(rolling eyes)..

Anyway, the suns will win this series, memphis is just not good enougn and swift tonight was getting posterized by amare left and right, total mismatch. The suns can beat their chest now, but they will have a tough time beating the likes of the Rockets, mavs and definately the spurs..

I hate Phoenix too. I rationalize my hatred as being about a BS run-and-gun no D Western team that's gonna get slammed in the second round of the playoffs.

But the real reason I hate them? Because we made that franchise-changing trade with them, and their franchise soared and ours sunk.
