We already know they hate Vince and can't let go of the past. But I just heard them talking on the radio about something that I thought was disgusting. When Vince got injured in the final game that the Nets had to win in order to make the playoffs and had to be escorted back to the locker room, they played the incident on a big screen at the Air Canada Centre (where the Raptors play) and the crowd gave a standing ovation because they were happy to see him get hurt.

Are you for real? Carter has played badly on purpose just to get traded, the Raptor fans should hate him with a passion till the end of time.

He deserves to get hurt for his primadona act. You have a contract, you play it out, even if you want to get traded. Being bad on purpose is terrible.

I dont know about hoping someone gets hurt but like Rich said Karma will have her say at some point. Vince is a hell of a player but it just shows his true character. Look at a guy like Iverson, he's been fighting for a ring for a while and his patience may be running short. But he still goes out and gives his best night after night. He's earning his check and giving his fans what they deserve to see. It makes me respect AI even more. I feel bad for all those kids who looked up to vince.

What about a guy like KG? I recognized AI and his abilities this season. He is a helluva player but he can never lead a team to a championship. He shoots too much. He toned it down this year but it might be too late. He never tried to make his team mates better and he played too much of a solo game. Dont get me wrong, Iverson is the man but he is not the guy kids should look upto when it comes to team sports.

Vince and his past just makes me respect KG (who does everything right) a lot more. This guy is someone kids should look up to.

That is why I argue with those who say the nets future is Better than the knicks because they have kidd and Vince, two players who have character issues, one is a prima donna, wife beating, no jumpshot having PG, the other is a guy who quit, QUIT on his team, a guy who did not want the pressure of being "the man" when he was getting paid like "the man" You don't win with guys like that, I don't care how many dunks they do, or how many off the backboard passes they make. Guys like KG, AI and even marbs are guys you can look up to. guys who play every night, when they can, guys who even when they are losing are going out to fight with their teams, not complain about wanting to bolt to the spurs, or admittingly quitting on their teams.. Vince will never get my respect again....
