10 things Knicks must do this summer

These are 10 things id like to see done this summer.


1. fire Layden. Its a little late to fire him before the draft, but get it done.

2. Send Allan to Rucker summer league. Either he get some balls or he will get embarrassed the heck out of.

3. Try to move Mark Jackson or buyout his contract. We need a slasher. Our offense looks so stagnant.

4. Get Lamar Odom at any cost.

5. Bring in some young PG's into training camp. I would like to see Ricky Moore, Ed Cota, Tony Robertson(pg/sg) in camp.

6. Spree must get rid of the long braids. He looks really gay, and I mean GAY.

7. Weatherspoon run him out of town. Even if we only Shawn Bradley in return I would be happy.

8. Trade Kurt Thomas. His value is very high in comparison to before. I still like Camby more. Camby is unique. Kurt isnt a good backup. He needs to start and he needs to start at center.

9. We have 4 average PF's we need to get down to 2. And have at least 1 all-star quality frontcourt player.

10. Bring Patrick back for 1 more season.

Patrick should get one of those one-day contracts so he can retire as a Knick.

We can use our 1.2 mil exception. Ewing cant we worse than Felton Spencer or Travis Knight.

Agree with all your points except bring back Ewing. NOOOOOO!

Of course Ewing wouldnt start. But it would be nice to have him come off the bench for 10-15min a game.

Why not bring back Patrick for a 10-day contract in the offseason so he can just retire as a Knick. If he's not doing that he's signing with a contender to play 10 minutes a night off the bench, he's said all he wants is a championship so he's not going to come back and play on a rebuilding team.
