I've heard a rumor from the same guy who told me about the Marbury deal two hours before ESPN announced it that Artest has been cleared to participate in the playoffs?

This sounds insane, but can anyone confirm?

according to Pacers fans, he was back on the bench for their final game in a suit. It's the first game he's been allowed to attend. And he was previously cleared to practice with the team (in March).

Wow that would be absolutely huge for the Pacers. I gotta admit it would make these playoffs alot more interesting for myself, I just don't see ANY juice with the Showtime Lakers and the Knicks not in it. Maybe David Stern thought having Artest back would be a good storyline for the NBA playoffs? This all is contingent on this rumour being true...

I hope they let him come back. Pacers with Jneal,, Artest , Reggie & Jackson will give Detroit a serious run for their money and make it the most exciting series in the playoffs!
