Who does everyone think will get the 7th and 8th playoff spots, respectively. We have last year's foe the Raptors in 7th, winning 9 of the last 10 without Vince Carter, (and solidifying the Ewing Theory, one made up on Page2 @ ESPN which states that a team is at its best w/o its superstar a la the Patriots winning the Super Bowl w/o Drew Bledsoe, the Knicks making it to the finals w/o Ewing, etc.,), the free-falling Bucks, and old rival Indiana who is clinging to the 8th spot. I would like to see the Raptors and Pacers make it, because I hate Vince Carter and them making it would make him look bad, and the Pacers because they're a fun team to watch and would be a tough contest w/ NJ since they are the deepest team in the East (Reggie Miller, Ron Artest, Jamaal Tinsley, Brad Foster, Jermaine O'Neal, Brad Miller, Ron Mercer, the list goes on). Also, there has been speculation that if George Karl doesn't make the playoffs, he'd get fired and might go back to UNC, his alma mater.

What does everyone think, who do you want and why?

I think Indiana will make instead of the Bucks. They've got games against Washington, Cleveland and Philly (without Iverson) while the Bucks are playing 3 east playoff teams. They've got Detroit on the second of a back-to-back game.

Milwaukee might make if after all because I believe they have the tiebreaker on both Indiana and Toronto. Ray Allen had a truly amazing game last night, 10-14 from the 3 point line is insane!

I think the Pacers will make it. But if Ray Allen continues to score like he did yesterday, the Bucks will be in good shape.

I sure hope Indiana gets the 8th seed, because I made a bet that they would win the East this year.

If Indiana and Milwaukee finished tied for the 8th spot than Milwaukee will get 8th seed because they won the season series against Indy. Therefore, i'll have to put my money on Milwaukee.

Phew, Indiana made it.

Just imagine how p***ed the Buck fans are right now! From conference finalists, to predicted Eastern Champions to missing out on the playoffs and not even having a high draft pick to show for it.
