gee wiz, what a most pleasant reminder in that playing a team that goes from a disappointing 25-37 record one year only to finish 10 games above .500 the following year......wow
You read my mind. Maybe trading a lottery pick for a nice established player doesn't always backfire?

yep.....i call it sanity check

yes, we have spent 100s of millions of dollars on established players.
Let me think, would I rather have lets say Biendrins and Josh Smith with Crawford Sweetney and Ariza and another high draft pick perhaps swiping Baron Davis for nothing as well? We need some 7 footers and back up Gs and no one is giving those away, you have to get them

oh man, you just gotta laugh at this team. I was major bummed in January, but lately it's been a little easier to swallow, even the crazy PT decisions by Herb. Dolan actually spared me by having his fight with Time Warner.

Annnnd....it's over.

Will this meaningless win come back to haunt us? (If we lose a spot in the draft as some speculate?)

I'm sorry, I don't buy that "end the season on a positive note" stuff.

The season was A DISASTER. A "meaningless" win against a team that was already in the playoffs and had their seeding set? If it costs us a better player down the road, what will we remember more, this win or the player we may have missed out on?
Forum Po Po and #33 for a reason...

We have a lot of needs. Backup PG might be fifth at best on that list. A better starting SG, a better starting SF, a better starting PF, and a better starting C are all higher. How many more wins do you think the team is gonna get if a very good PG plays 11 mpg instead of Crawford playing 11 mpg at PG? Now compare that to replacing any one of the starters at 2-5 with a player at Antoine Jamison's level. (I mention him because he was the player obtained by trading a lottery pick as discussed earlier.) I'll take an Antoine Jamison level player and you can take a backup PG.

Let me get this clear: we won, so the 7th pick is in jeopardy. Now, if Golden State wins, we keep the 7th pick? It depends on GS? Well, so far they are leading Utah, so...

How was Sweetney tonight? He had a career high 13 rebounds.

Why is everyone in the articles I have read today that NY has the 8th pick? Isn't it still not decidec because ot the coin flip thing?
