we lose--we get 7 no iffs and or anything else.
we win and one team loses--we have flip the coin
we win and both teams loses--we flip the coin multiple times and could finish in 9th

Wash doesnt have much to play for.. but thats not saying that they dont hammer us. I really hope we lose. 7th is a very good spot to be in this draft.

I believe the tiebreaker doesn't get to the coinflip until other factors have been considered. Head to head, conference record, division record, etc.

Someone posted it from the ESPN site in another thread.

Found the ESPN report.



Two-Team Tiebreaker
1. Better record in head-to-head games
2. Higher winning percentage in conference games
3. Higher winning percentage within division (if teams are in the same division)
4. Higher winning percentage against playoff teams in own conference
5. Higher winning percentage against playoff teams in opposite conference
6. Higher point differential between points scored and points allowed

Three-Team Tiebreaker
1. Best head-to-head winning percentage among all teams tied
2. Highest winning percentage in conference games
3. Highest winning percentage within division (if teams are in the same division)
4. Highest winning percentage against playoff teams in own conference
5. Highest point differential between points scored and points allowed

The Wizards havent been letting up from what I can see so they have a good chance of beating us.

yeah, I believe we lose the tiebreaker to Toronto (meaning they're 9th) and would flip with GSW if we tie them.

Easiest thing to do is get toasted though. At least we're "resting" Marbury in the 4th quarters there days.

Tonight I'll be hoping for a win, for all 3 teams. I really want that 7th spot, but I'd also like to give the Garden faithful a win.
