NO i do not want him on our team.

But, he is killing right now. They are playing denver and he is killing out there right now, dunks, jumpers, cutts to the basket about 3 and 1's.

I'm watching the gamr also. He is definately impressive. If He did that all the time he would be starting at least. It took him 5 years to get to this point. Next year will be 6. Will he ever figure out how good he is?

um, if he did that all the time, he'd be a lot more than starting on the Blazers. He'd be starting in the all-star game.

BTW, he finished with 47 pts, 12 rbs, 5 blks, 4 stls off the bench.

I never saw what anyone saw in him, until tonight. Does he play D, whats his problem? why is he oly putting up 12 and 5? I guess you can only take so much from this game, Camby and Keyshon were out, and they still lost it anyway.

Darius Miles has shown what he can be in the last 1 1/4 year in many games, and the topping of the cake was last night. Of course he comes with his own tolerable baggage and inconsistencies

but I think if we can look to Portland as a team willing to give up salaries, Id be more than willing to do a deal that had the princibles of Tim Thoams's ending contract and Miles to play at SF. he is almost 6-10 he is long he is very athletic and he is showing what he can do. He has very long arms, can defend block shots steals run the floor, he hasnt done anything wrong except run his mouth at the wrong time. His FG% is good. Id be willing to accept Patterson and Miles for Trevor Ariza and TT. Thats a very fair trade because of salary cap commitments.

dude... thats a lot of luggage. Those would be two usefull players but not for Ariza. While Ariza isnt the player either of those guys are he's got what we need between the ears. I would rather give up the late pick this year than Ariza.

It's tough to criticize a guy after a peformance like that, right? Well, I'm taking a shot at it. He puts up 33 shots and doesn't get a single assist??

Personally I am not a Darius Miles fan and would not want him.

Not sure if you were joking or serious, but what scorers does he have to pass the ball to? Shareef left the game early and Zach is injured.

No way would I give up Ariza for Miles. Ariza's 19 and Miles is about 24. The worst case scenario for Ariza is that in five years he's only an inconsistent 12/5 player (and still with a better attitude than Miles). Trading a 19 year old like Ariza to get a 12/5 player would be a pure Laydenesque move.

there has to be something wrong with him. it's very peculiar that isiah didn't trade frank and othella for him when he knew there was a marbury deal in place.

in retrospect, after marbury got here, moving frank and othella for darius would've been a better move than bringing tim in to fill the athletic SF spot.

He scores 12 ppg off the bench at 7 mil per. That aint bad. He's 24, that aint bad either, but he needs a coach to get in his face and regulate him when he's out of pocket. Isiah or Paul Silas are the only ones I can think of that I could see doing that. Maybe I have too much faith in Zeke but I think he could mentor Kwame Brown too. I think he could make something of both of those guys.

only problem with Miles is he has no perimeter game but if he can slowly develop one he would be great. I'd love to have him at SF running the floor and blocking a ton of shots

he's the main vet that I want. I guess if they are willing to take back Malik Rose and Tim Thomas

Id be willing to take back Ratliff and Miles if they add in 2nd round pick this year and next year. Even though Ratlif has a problem, I dont see why he can be used as a defensive guy off the bench. we have to many jyd rose's etal 9 small PF, I will go back against my not wanting ratliff if they take the Rose contract and add in the 2 2nd rounders.

We already have 4 1st rd picks over the next two years and a couple of 2nd rd picks. Where are you gonna get the roster spots for a few more 2nd rd picks? I don't mind having the picks, but because it's unlikely there'd be room on the roster for them, the 2nd rd picks definitely would not be the decisive factor to me.

Anyone else see Miles' airball windmill dunk a few min ago? Man, I wish we had more players who were athletic enough to even miss a windmill dunk!
