We have a great chance at drafting the studd that we have so desperately been looking for. We need to definitely trade Kurt Thomas and all of the other garbages that we have to upgrade our squad. Green, Williams, Mayes, etc this will represent the richest draft in a long long time......

Trade our second round pick, next year's first, and Kurt Thomas for draft picks and a big man....., Kandi is a real 7' who can come to our team for cheap. Ask Minnesota to trade Kandi and their draft picks to us, because I am quite sure that KG will not be willing to go through with next season without proven players.....

forget about Wally and draft young inexpensive players that will be around for a while. Wally is a good player, but we can find ourselves a much cheaper Wally in this draft..

Is there any team in the league that would trade a high first round or lotto for KT?

I'm trying to figure that one out myself. it would certainly be a miracle but maybe since we're getting Bogut at #1 despite having the 7th worst record maybe luck is finally on our side lol

If we could get rid of Kurt and parlay that into a pick.. that would be great... any pick from 18 to 30. That way.. we could package the two remaining picks after #7.. to move up. Get a younger replacement.

I noticed that some of the West teams, especially in the south, like Dallas and San Antonio, seem to love KT. Maybe we could trick Dallas into giving us their pick for KT.

A trade of kurt for a non-lottery pick is a lot more realistic like a pick in the 15-20 range. Even that might be pushing it. Maybe a pick in the 21-29 range. We'll still get a very nice prospect there in this deep draft like a Frye, Blatche, McCants, fernandez, Garcia, Ellis, Gomes, turiaf, webster, etc

exactly there are many options thats why we're all looking forward to the draft so much. It will determine if we become a 45+ win team in the near future or a 30win team for the next 5-10yrs

that is why I think that this is the best draft in decades...From 1-15 there are nothing but very promissing talents.

The more players are declaring for the draft is the beter our chances will be. If we win the second pick, we should trade to whomever has the fourth pick for 4 and other picks that they may have. Example, if Atlanta ends up with the 4th pick and the Knicks has the second pick, we should trade that second pick for their 4th and additional picks that they may endup with. Because, the more picks we have is the better.

I think it would be wise to explore trading with Denver

Denver really has no need to add a superstar in their ranks because they are already stock. They could really afford to trade with us, but didn't they trade all of their draft picks to the Nets for KMart????? Anyhow, I would trade Crawfford to a team with need for a SG as soon as possible, because with the type of players that we have around, Crawfford really doesn't fit.
