Why not trade the Wolves Tim's expiring contract? That way Kurt can be saved for another trade.

Is there a link for the story or do you simply think he's "Wild for Wally"?
Wally's a good player but I doubt I'd use TT's expiring contract to get him.

Wally comes here if Wolves want to take a salary dump! Could they get better value than taking a dump? I think so.

Trading a big for a wing is bad. Wally for KT only after the draft and we have our front line set.

Bullsheet article with nothing to write about these days.

While still in denial, we got the H20 thing to figure out. Trade exemption, insurance, and buyout figures are likely more important issues than his kness. Its become business and will get ugly. Allan does not deserve to be treated in "Isiah" style, but if he can't go, then he gotta go the way god intended. If god is always directing his life, then he gotta say God don't want him playing no more!

Id like to see the Knicks get good enough so that they would bring in someone like Wally as a bench player not a starter which he probably would be if he came here now.

We have enough defensive shortcomings as it is.

Here's a line-up we could see next year:

C Z
PF Taft
SF Wally
SG Crawford
PG Marbury
6th Ariza
7th Sweetney
8th D Stoudamire
9th 30th pick

I can see us trading KT and a filler for Wally, TT and a filler for Big Z, drafting Taft, and signing Stoudamire with the MLE. I don't think it's a bad plan at all. That team could compete for the atlantic.

Wally is perfect. Doesnt play D, shoots alot and has a bum knee. Bring him on... expiring deals and picks should do it

hahahaha, but in all fairness if we did get phil Jackson and ran the triangle, wally would be perfect, smart player, can shoot, is a good passer and moves well without the ball... I like wally, I just don't think the knicks need him, and if he has a bum knee like you said, we need to stay far away....

NY Post article:

http://nypost.com/sports/knicks/42954.htm

My Take:

http://www.knickerblogger.net/2005/04/i-had-dream.htm

Snippet:
Szczerbiak would be the death of the Knicks, and in turn Isiah Thomas. His contract doesn't match his performance, as he is owed $55M over the next 5 years (including this season). Between Wally, Stephon, and Jamal, the Knicks would have 3 guards that make $44M dollars, just short of what the cap is now. You shouldn't tie up your money in three guys like that unless they make the All Star Team regularly, and I don't see any "East" jerseys being sold with those names on the back.

Same as your comment on Zach. You do realize that Isiah has never pursued a player with knee problems, right?

I hate when Isiah loves a player. We have already seen in the stupid Mo trade that when Isiah loves a player, no matter how much he would screw up the team, he will make the trade. Sighs...

KT for Harpring makes much more sense for our needs.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

There's no way Isiah takes a risk on Wally. We could use some white whistles around here, but Wally ain't it.

We've got to do something about H20. I wouldn't mind if he has to get it Isiah-style.

it makes perfect sense a one dimensional player that doesn't know how to play defense, perfect fit
