They have to.....McHale has screwed up the franchise too many times to not get fired. If he stays around I will be in shock.

KG sounded terrible after the game. He might want out of Minnesota.

What could be better then dumping 2 draft picks on the T-Wolves along with KT and Timmy to get KG and a filler? The Knicks roster won't really change much.......just add "The Big Ticket". KG and Marbs back again!

sounds great but as with Lebron I'm sure other teams havea lot more to offer. Likean allstar and a couple of #1 overall picks

For a team that isn't rich like the Knicks.....Timmy's expiring contract long with a solid worker in KT and the potential of 4 first round draft choices over the next 4 years. I think the Knicks have as good a chance as anyone to get KG.

Minnesota right now doesn't have a team outside of KG. They suck worse than the Knicks right now.

Pipe dream guns but what the hell......it's 2:22am!!!

We've talked about this before. I think the Knicks have just as good a chance as any team in the league to trade for KG.

We always talk about how the Knicks have no chance at a trade then another team hits the lottery and totally fleeces the other team.

KG messed up, He should have demanded a trade a long time ago. As for McHale, you must have forgotten that this dude is a white man. White GMs don't get fired just like that. If he was black, he would have been gone since after the Smith incident....That is what is wrong with THE NBA...

That is why we need to desegragate the ownership world of basketball. It is really unfair....

I don't know about that. the Wolves made the playoffs every year. this is the 1st year they haven't in a long time unlike a guy like Isiah who never made the playoffs in toronto and made the playoffs last year in the terrible East with a 39-43 record and essemble a disasterous team this year. Lets not play the race card just yet. If the wolves do nothing to imrove the team and they're struggling early next year thaen fire Mchale..no question about it!


and I'd blame sprewell and the fact that Cassell has been injured all year before I blame Mchale who built a heck of a team last season. Now its time for McHale to get rid of these guys and get back in the playoffs. If he doesn't then fire him

How long has McHale been the GM in Minnesota???? Exactly. This dude has failed to assemble a good team to complement KG. He finally tried last year, but still failed to bring in proper upgrade, and most of all, despite the fact he knew that his team was bad, still failed to do something before the trade deadline. He had plenty of opportunity to move a couple of his players, I.E. Zcerbiak to the Knicks for either Kurt Thomas whom would have helped their squad instead of the combo of Kandiy and Irwin. That man deserves to be fired.....If he isn't the black GMs should raise this type of unfairness to the top of all topics. Bias.....Jordan (the greatest ball player of all time) wasn't given the amount of time that McHale have......

KG is too good of a player to be playing for such a small market. He should demand a trade to N.Y. He has been carrying Minnesota on his shoulder for much too long, and he is not getting any younger. Therefore, if I were him, I would request a trade to N.Y.

Look here, what if this scenario was to happen: we hire his old coach Flip, and reunite Marb and KG together, and surround them with good role players, like JYD, Malik, etc, we could be a force to be reckon with in the East....

Trade that could earn us KG:
Penny, TT, Kurt, Crawfford, and #1

It would have to be Crawford, Ariza, KT & our number one and perhaps an expiring deal to take someone off their hands, which they could use to draft greene, and start rebuilding......

Sweetney

And then when Lebron becomes a free agent he comes to NY and we win 5 championships in a row

KG would have to demand a trade to the Knicks for it to get done...If they really are looking for cap space, which they will need to make a move after Yao Ming, we could even send them Houston's contract....After all, they did a similar deal with Atlanta last season for their old PG whom is now retired from the league. I believe his name was Brandon

ok, here's the plan...we trade KT, TT, Penny, Crawford & our #1 for Kobe & Brian Grant...then we send Kobe to CLE for Lebron & cap filler...then KG demands a trade to NY because he wants to play alongside Marbury & Lebron, so we end up trading Mo T, Malik & the next Elton Brand to MIN for KG...of course, then Ray Allen decides he wants to sign for the MLE & Karl Malone signs on for the LLE for a chance to play w/those cats...& here is our team for 2005/06:

C - KG
PF - Malone
SF - Lebron
SG - Ray
PG - Marbury

That's not a good lineup b/c KG is a power foward, not a center. You will have to put him on the bench and trade JYD for Rasho Nesterovic, and we'll have KG coming off the bench for depth. I'm sure he'll accept that.
