I think with the first pick the knicks should draft Martell webster. he's 6'7 and 215 pounds of muscle. i personally think he is the best high schooler in the draft from watching games he plays in. athletic can shoot a consistent mid range jump shot, grab boards, and nice ballhandling. i think we should trade kurt thomas and our second round pick to oralndo for tony battie and theyre first rounder. draft petro. he's very athletic, can run and block shots. will he be the next amare stoudamire, we can only hope. and with the 30th pick we take blatche. i admit this guy will be a project but with mark aguirre (the guy responsible for making jermaine oneal a low post beast) i think he has a chance to be something real special.

Webster might be as good right away as Green, but has nowhere near the upside. He's a very good athlete, but not a freak athlete. I see him as one of those guys that does everything very well, but not one thing exceptional. We might be able to get him with our second first rounder, but i don't think getting him with our lotto pick is the answer. I think Green or Taft would be the answer.

I agree about Webster - he's going to be an impact player right away. Also, better work ethic and professionalism than most.

With the first pick they should draft a player no shorter the 6'10".

i know its wrong but i am not so enthusiastic about drafting europeans. its like 1 out of every 20 is actually a good player and i dont think zeke is willing to take that chance. zeke's trips to europe are just a couple of days off from being knick gm.
