which ultimately comes back to whether Dolan will ever sell this team. until the public makes a stand instead of being swindled with smooth talk like you said this will forever be the dumbest organization in sports. There's not much the fans can do and even if true Knicks fans got together and protested in front of the Garden one day the seats will still be relatively filled every night with passerbys.
Now if we had the media backing us up things would get done, management would listen but for whatever reason the media keeps writing "Knicks will not go down without fighting DESPITE being officially eliminated from playoff contention"
I think eventually we're going to start seeing articles about how we need to blow this thing up and when a #1 draft pick is there to be hand as a consolation prize for a horrific season the mediocre overrated and overpaid Vets need to have their minutes decreased.
the Media is still years away from realizing that the last time we were good was when we drafted Patrick Ewing with the number 1 pick. Eventually they are going to realize that the only way they are going to become a constant playoff contender is going to be when they draft the next ewing, shaq, lebron, duncan.
The general public only listens to what they hear from the media. So it is imperative that the media voices the opinions of true Knicks fans. Then not only will they sellout every game but they will have a person in every seat in the Garden. The way it used to be when we DRAFTED Ewing and had a decade of success financial success and were the talk of the town!
UGH I feel so sick right now!!!
